Mom moved in to the Oakmont in San Rafael less than a few months ago. The Traditions memory care team at Oakmont and other team members already feel like family members for Mom and me. This has been a tough transition for both of us and the team has really been so compassionate and supportive. I live close by and I'm able to drop by every day to visit and join in activities like daily morning stretches, brain games, garden picnics, and Thursday live music (so great!) Everyone from the receptionists, the management team, the med techs, the care givers, and the activities team truly care about what they are doing and give 150%. My family is so grateful for the loving care that the the Oakmont team provides for my Mom. And, I appreciate the emotional support and responsiveness whenever I have any questions or concerns. When faced with challenges, they are quick to find solutions. We feel lucky we found Oakmont.

I'm the first one in my group of friends to go to senior living, and I tell them all I really like it, although I wasn't sure how I would react at first. We have a lot of entertainment in the afternoons. The shuttle service is great - they take us shopping, to get our nails done, out to lunch - of course only if you want to go. I really like the exercise classes. Everybody here is very very nice - the kitchen staff, the caretakers, and management. The food is really good. I feel like I'm getting a really good deal here.

From the moment I drove up to take a tour of Carmel Village it stood out as just a beautiful setting for a active community. I wish all assisted-living communities could look this good. And the staff above and beyond helpful with answering my questions.

Oakmont of San Rafael is a brand new facility. That was one of the attractions we had because we actually got to walk around and pick out the room we wanted. The caregivers really get to know the residents on the memory care side. They know the flow of what each of the residents like and do not like to do. They keep in great contact with the family, if I do not get an update in person then they email once a week to give progress reports and have been very responsive. The food is excellent, it is like eating at a restaurant and the meals are chef prepared. Residents get to choose off of a menu as well. The activities are wonderful, every time I go to visit mom she kicks me out because she has plans to go do something. I would absolutely recommend Oakmont to other families.

The community is very clean and the staff members are super friendly. They greet all the visitors when they come and they always say hi to us when we are out and about. The dining service is really good but sometimes the meals are a little hit or miss.

We've had a very good experience. I've already recommended them to another family member of mine. They're very friendly and very open. They're wonderful at meeting my loved one's needs. The facility is huge, and very clean. I've been very impressed.

We chose WellQuest because they were recommended to us. It was a new facility when we toured and we were impressed with it. They just got a new activities director and the activities are really starting to ramp up. My mom was in memory care and the food was not great, now she is in assisted living and the food is much better quality. The only thing that sucks is getting here, traffic can be bad during certain times of the day. Visiting hours right now are 7-7 and you have to take a covid test that is $10 before you can go in. Overall I would definitely recommend them to others looking.

We chose Carmel Village because I like the ambiance of the grounds, they are very pretty and well kept. I also really liked [name removed] the sales director, he did a great job at showing us around and giving us all the information we needed. Out of all the facilities that we looked at, this was the best by far. It is also a pet friendly facility which is perfect for us since we have a little dog. I would definitely recommend them to others looking.

Pasadena Highlands is a wonderful senior community! Staff is friendly, professional, clean & great with seniors. Highly recommended. Definitely tour this community!

This was a good community it was just too far in location and I wanted my loved one closer to where I live.

Our family had an in person tour and the experience was fine but we ended up choosing another facility because they were able to accommodating all of our loved ones specific medical needs.

We chose Pasadena Highlands because we really liked everything that we saw on the tour. The staff members here are so friendly and helpful, I would give them above a 5 if I could. I would highly recommend this facility. If you are considering moving your loved one, do not wait too long like I did.

We love it, we are so happy and pleased with our experience so far. We love that our mother still has the availability to live somewhere nice, and that is beautiful and gorgeous with a very warm atmosphere. The meals are wonderful and they have plenty of activities, and she gets PT every single day. The provide all the care needed, even extra care with an extra fee of course but the assist with all of her daily needs. The staff are incredibly nice to her, and she loves them. Even on their breaks they will and sit down with her and the other residents to see how their day is going. We can call the nurse, the physical therapist or the med-techs and they will all respond in a timely manner and know everything our loved one has going on, and what she has done during the day it really is incredible.

I liked this community and they were great there was just another that my loved one liked more. The tour guide was lovely and was good.

The community seems to be very clean and the staff members have been really friendly so far. The care services seem to be fine we have not heard of any complaints from our loved one. She is really enjoying the meals and dining service. We do think we are getting a great value every month.

Sunrise of Fresno was a very close second for us during our search. It had such a nice, homey-feeling when you walk in and the facility itself is beautiful. The tour was wonderful and they covered all of the bases.

Staff is friendly, professional, very accommodating. Always available to assist you. Promptly take care of any issues. Building is very well maintained. Have daily activities for the residents. I highly recommend this facility.
