Westmont Living

We like westmount of riverside. The apartment is great. The staff so far are nice and accommodating. The administrators tends to be difficult to get a call back or email but we know how to escalate things which resulted in prompt responses. I really like the senior doc connection they have that has minimized the number of urgent care visits. Overall the experience has been very positive.

Location was a key factor (close to friends). On site staff, including nurse and visiting doctor is important. The facility age and cleanliness is important. Outdoor options along with daily and weekly programs are also essential.

It was a beautiful facility, new construction. The gal that helped onboard us was terrific. Amenities were great. I would definitely recommend to other. The only thing I can add is the one drawback... not enough outdoor space, or serene places to relax outside

What we like the most about the community is the staff are friendly, it is easy to text or call and check in on loved one, and it gives peace of mind that she is well taken care of. Of course we would recommend this community to others, they are so accommodating. Friendly and approachable. They know they have a precious family member and they are kind and loving.

We’d have sent our loved one there, but she insists on going home, and we can’t legally stop her. So we’ll see.

I was impressed by how comfortable and happy all the patients were and how attentive the staff were. It was a good combination.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Facility very open and inviting. Residents were enjoying activities provided and looking forward to the Mardi Gras event. The room we looked at was clean, spacious and had a nice large window overlooking the courtyard. Very good first impression.

The tour was very thorough and we appreciated learning not just about Westmont, but about how senior living programs work across Santa Barbara. If you are considering senior living, would definitely check out Westmont.

The friendliness, attentiveness and GENUINE care from the staff as well as how well built and beautiful they keep the building and facilities. Would definitely recommend to others. Their head of patient can sat with my dad while he was dying, knowing I wouldn't arrive in time to be with him. They learned how to use BiPAP for him and tried really hard to keep him on his BiPAP regimen, which was keeping him alive until he didn't want it any longer. They were so kind to him and rounded on him way more often than I expected. Their food is really good and varied my dad's only complaint is that there were never the condiments available that go with the dish, unless he specifically asked for them. Lol

Westmont at Cypress is a beautiful facility. It has everything I could want in a senior living facility. It is well taken care of. I love the facility. When I can no longer stay in my home, I will go to Westmont or a facility like Westmont.

Very nice. Facility clean, & beautiful. For swimmers their large pool a huge plus. For walkers lakeside path a must. Plenty of activities for socially minded seniors. Most expensive of 3 sites I visited but personally felt other locations better fit.

Excellent facility , clean and recently built, with a convenient location. Rooms are nicely laid out and spacious. Staff was very helpful, friendly and able to answer all my questions. I can understand why there are no openings.

It was a very wonderful experience. Great accommodations. I love the place and loved all the choices you have. I hope brother will be able to live there. He felt it met his needs. We also thought it had a great location.

It’s a very nice and comfortable place, with attentive personnel. The place seemed clean, with plenty of light in the rooms overall, and pleasant colors and artworks. The people around were friendly and welcoming.

I want to tell other Senior Citizens of a great place to live. Full of friendly staff; great food and other Tenants ready to be your friend, give advice and be there for you when needed The staff is always ready to listen, solve issues and give comfort when needed

After significant online research, my wife and I decided to look no further. From the time we entered the building for a tour of the facility, we receive nothing but the best possible feelings from every staff person to the folks living there. [name removed] did an outstanding job of explaining everything, leaving us without any questions. We look forward to enjoying the long list of programs and services they have to offer, in the not too distant future.

What we like the most about the community is that the staff are very helpful, we like the size of the apartment and the activities that are offered. Yes, we would recommend Westmont of Pinole to other families based on the experience so far.

I had a tour of the facility and was extremely impressed with everything about it. I have heard good things about Westmont and wanted to see for myself. The lady whom I met spent the better part of two hours with me as we discussed our family situation, and at no time did I feel rushed. I was particularly interested in knowing the difference between the assisted living wing and the Alzheimers wing and how they interact. I left with a clear understanding of everything, and feel that Westmont will be very suitable for our family member in due course. I highly recommend Westmont to anyone considering a safe, caring place for a loved one.
