<p>Our goal is to provide residents with a secure and supportive environment where they can lead a comfortable, fulfilling life with the care they need. Our staff members are available around the clock to assist with medication management, incontinence care, and activities of daily living (e.g., dressing, bathing, grooming, etc.), among other services. Care plans are tailored to fit each individual’s unique needs, and staff members have received specialized memory care training to best tend to the dynamic needs of residents with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia. For residents in need of more advanced services, transportation to and from appointments is available, and routine visits with local health care professionals are available on site.</p>
<p>We strive to create an environment that encourages both social and physical activity while also supporting independence. You’ll often find residents getting some fresh air in one of our outdoor common areas or chatting with friends in the on-site clubhouse. We have a spacious and well-stocked library, a heated outdoor pool, and a beauty salon and barber shop where you can get pampered. Fitness, cooking, and art classes are among the many ways you can explore new and old interests while engaging your body and mind in soothing yet fun environments.</p>
<p>Residents enjoy three chef-prepared meals daily in our spacious, comfortable dining room. Housekeeping and laundry services are provided as well, so residents can spend more time doing the things they enjoy and less time keeping up with the stresses of home maintenance.</p>
<h3>Living Arrangements</h3>
<p>We offer several studio, one-, and two-bedroom floor plans to accommodate your desired lifestyle. Each apartment features spacious, wheelchair-accessible bathrooms, large windows that let in a healthy dose of sunlight, and ample storage space. Assisted living apartments include a kitchenette, perfect for keeping your favorite snacks and drinks on hand. Cozy and thoughtfully designed, the apartments of Adante will have you feeling right at home the minute you walk through the door.</p>
<h3>State Classification</h3>
<p>Adante Assisted Living & Memory Care is a <em>Type B assisted living facility</em>. In the state of Texas, these terms are defined as follows:</p>
<h4>Assisted Living Facility</h4>
<p>A facility that provides personal care services and administration of medication to 4 or more residents. Assisted living facilities can accept residents with dementia and/or Alzheimer’s. There are 3 types of assisted living facilities:</p>
<p></p><dl><dt>Type A:</dt><dd>A facility that may provide room and board to residents who are physically and mentally capable of evacuating the facility unassisted.</dd><br>
<dt>Type B:</dt><dd>A facility that may provide room and board to residents who need assistance evacuating, are incapable of following directions under emergency conditions, require staff attendance during nighttime sleeping hours, and require assistance transferring to and from a wheelchair.</dd><br>
<dt>Type C (Adult Foster Care):</dt><dd>Four-bed facilities that meet the minimum standards and rules for enrollment in the Department of Aging and Disability Services’ Adult Foster Care home program. The facility provides supervision and personal care services to residents.</dd></dl><p></p>
