She started in memory care but thankfully she was reevaluated after 30 days and was moved to assisted living in mid-January. I have been there almost daily over the last two months. There are so many good things- the common areas are always sparkling clean, the lobby is open and bright, the dining room is efficient (and the food is pretty good), the gym is nice and open, and there are daily events and programming for the residents. But the real story is the staff! I would assume that most places would have high turnover, but I've seen the same faces over the last two months. Everyone (and I mean EVERYONE) is kind and outgoing. Assisted living facilities can accept residents with dementia and/or Alzheimer’s.
