Absolutely, they made the process easy. They even recommended a downsized/mover. They packed/ donated/ discarded then moved. While moving in to Aston, they even helped with proper placement of furniture.

Had a tour recently with [Name Removed] from sales who was very friendly, knowledgeable & helpful. Looking at independent living for my parents. Aston Gardens appeared very clean with a comfortable family like feel right from the start as I walked in. Apartments are large with large lanais which is a plus. I think it’s a great value for your cost.

Do not move your parent here unless you live nearby. High staff turnover, including management, not great food and if you’re loved one needs a higher level of care this is not the place. Ask a lot of questions!

My experience with the team at Aston Gardens has been wonderful and my accommodations and new residence are exactly as I expected! The staff at Aston Gardens has been exceptional, and their attention to detail has been appreciated! I would highly recommend Aston Gardens to friends or family. The responsiveness of the team has been beyond my expectations, and that began with the sales process. This is truly a hidden gem in Venice, Florida, and well worth the tour the dining experience and a visit with [name removed].

we asked enough questions to the sales people. Be sure to check the apartment very closely and take pictures of anything that you might question, such as there may be something not cleaned to their standards, check corners, window sills, appliances in good shape, and anything else they might be concerned about. Can't think of anything else. Just be cautious and ask a lot of questions. This is a great place to live, everyone is very friendly including most of the staff. You always have one or two people that don't have a hospitality mindset. But overall I think we just didn't ask enough questions. We do love it here. One of the nicest things about being here is the location which is great. We have a strip mall that is within walking distance, Publix, Walgreens, Credit Union, UPS store and many more are in the mall. Hair salon, nail salon, plus more.

They are cutting corners with meals. If we missed a main meal we can no longer have a "make up" meal order unless it is eaten in the dining room. I am handicapped as is my husband. Getting to the DR 2X daily is next to impossible for us due to poor physical reserves. Therefore we would pay for a meal but not get to the DR to eat it Ridiculous!!!

I picked them because of the price and location. They have many floor plans available. I would recommend to others.

Our house cleaners do a poor job don't even move trash cans to clean. Housekeeping is MINIMAL. If clients expect apt to be cleaned, laugh. Facility is clean in public places. Staff and residents are concerned about residents. Extreme friendliness on the part of all. Food is good. Excellent variety that is healthy and plentiful. I see many residents taking portion of their lunch or dinner for another meal. Sunday brunch has an extensive menu. Sometimes food is not seasoned enough for us but I carry small portions of seasonings I usually use to spice up the taste. We were safe in the hurricane. That has great draw for a facility. There are educational opportunities, trips, cards, trivia, and other activities. Residents form their own groups for activities as well A significant brickbat. We have been without TV and internet for 6 days. We have Direct TV, a supplier I would NEVER choose for myself. When it rains or threatens to do so, we lose service.

I give it all a 5 It was very nice Mom passed away 12/2 from a heart attack They were very good in rushing her to the hospital via ambulance As I was out of town. They appoint "ambassadors" to keep in touch with residents. They are consistent in inviting them to get involved with activities and having lunches or dinners together. That was good for mom because she was very much a home body. She needed people to reach out to her and pull her in.

The Aston Gardens at Pelican Pointe community and staff were and are so welcoming. The food is awesome!! Her unit is lovely and close to the main building. Having a primary care physician on site is too good to be true.

- Overall experience at Aston Gardens: we love the people we met and having the activities. - Cleanliness: when we moved in the apartment was not properly cleaned, but it was right after the hurricane Ian. - Friendliness of staff: most staff(especially non management) were delightful. - Quality of care: We were in independent living, so this was not really something I can comment on. - Dining: we really enjoyed the community atmosphere of the dining hall, especially having meals with our neighbors who became our friends. The food was generally pretty good, especially for special meals. We did NOT enjoy the Sunday buffets. Lines were too long, people with walkers, wheelchairs, etc. were having to stand in three different lines, and it was such a hassle that we finally just gave up going. - Value for cost: After a year of really enjoying living at Aston Gardens, we got our yearly increase, and it was almost 10 percent. - Activities: Some of the activities that we had come to count on were discontinued, and we realized that if we continued living there we would run out of money, so we made the decision to move out.

The staff at Aston Gardens at Pelican Pointe are very friendly, talk to residents by name. Housekeeping is once per week, was adequate. Maybe an interval cleaning of the bathroom, especially after shower day, would be nice. Communication with the family is good. Family was visiting every day, so usually just talked to them when needed. The meals are very good, good variety and quantity. Snacks are available by the front desk. I would recommend this facility. They had a respite room available when we needed it, furnished, so the move in experience didn't apply. My one recommendation concerns Discovery Health. I didn't feel that they did a very good job for PT. We were much happier when we switched to Baycare.

What we like the most about this community is that our mom has met many new friends. So she will not get lonely. They invite her to dinner to movies and to exercise. Also anything she needed was supplied to her quickly. They take good care of care of their tenants. And are aware of their needs.

I love it here! Thy offer activities such as; watercolor classes, a creative writing club, a Crossword Puzzle Club, Bible Study, Therapy Dogs, a Women's discussion group, A Book Club, Creative Writing Workshop, Water Aerobics, Balance exercises, and Aston Garden's Chorus. We have a bus available, and cars to take residents to banks, grocery stores , library and doctors appointments, to the performances at the Venice Performing Arts Center for Concerts, Symphonies and Performances., and to various church options. The bus also provides multiple opportunities for dining restaurant meals out, Casino trips twice a month, movies, and wonderful adventures that our Director of Celebration plans for us. We have a very talented chef who provides us with delicious meals, with multiple choices at lunch or dinner. As you can tell, there is no shortage in activities, and that doesn't list all the celebrations for every holiday, when the chef creates great special food and drink and we have special music available. We feel like we are on vacation all the time. The apartements have; Full kitchens, walk in showers, top of line countertops, washer and dryer in every unit, lovely screened lanais, carpets in bedrooms and flooring in living rooms, dining rooms, kitchen and hallways.

Aston gardens at Pelican Pointe is a lovely place. The lady who gave us the tour is great at what she does. She was patient and answered all of our questions. This was our second choice out of many places that we looked at. I just felt that it was a little bit more institutional compared to the facility that we went with.

They keep it nice and clean. The friendliness of the staff, and people brought us here. They have been very helpul. The food is good, and they are improving. Compared to other places, the value for the money is good. Overall, the efforts in recovering from the hurricane have been excellent.
