1-5 Excellent experience overall 2-5 Extremely clean facility, the staff go above the norm in this respect 3-5 Very friendly center. Your loved ones feel like they are part of a family, not just a patient. 4-5 Wishing Well- Genesis have exceptional nurses and support staff. They try to help in every situation. I don't believe I could have found a better fit for my loved one. 5-5 The administrative staff that I have worked with are caring, knowledgeable, & professional. 6-5 The quality of the food served patients would be second to none in my humble opinion. They have nutritional variety at every meal. 7-5 The assisted living center constantly has an array of activities for the residents. They offer something for everyone 8-5 You might find a less expensive center but you won't find a Better center! I highly recommend Wishing Well Genesis Assisted Living Center.

Caregivers also are trained in Colostomy care, Foley catheter care, brain shunts, and end-of-life care. A registered nurse is available 24 hours a day and visits weekly.

It was a dark and gloomy place. Not cozy or warm. It didn't have a pretty or uplifting environment. On one occasion it was extremely cold in her room. To the point we were uncomfortable. The ones in charge stayed at a distance, almost like they were hiding.

The staff are not professionals. It is clean and friendly, but if someone is in need of healthcare, this is definitely not the place. I chose this place because of cost. And it was the only assisted living that would accommodate my husband who required a Hoyer lift. By the way, I really appreciated your staff in finding this place for me because I was in a panic mode and your staff was awesome

My wife and I scheduled a tour for this facility, hoping to bring my mother here after bringing her back home to be closer to us. Upon arriving we were greeted by a very nice girl who addressed herself as the Assistant manger, she intruding us to the nurse and everything seemed great. Until we were introduced to the manager and she took over the tour. She was nice but we could not understand her, she was uneducated in almost every question that we asked. She could not give a direct answer to the care provided. She was unprofessional and I honestly felt it was not in my mother's best interest to be in a facility where the manager was so uneducated and not qualified to be in charge. Although the nurse and staff seemed caring and kind, I do not trust that management could make proper decisions when it came to care of my mother. The country setting and atmosphere seemed great.

I would only give this facility of three in all categories. It is affordable, but hard to get to because it's on West Virginia mountain roads. The staff is not professionally trained individuals. They are kind and caring, but not necessarily trained to handle any kind of a health situation. If a person going, there has medical issues. This is not the place for them.

1-2- We moved (my sister) patient due to these ratings & closer vicinity to family, even tho cost is quite more. 2-2- the facility is older and needed obvious repairs(leaking roof over (my sisters) patient's bed) 3-5- staff all are very nice. 4-3-average on most things. 5-3- owner very nice, attention to details, other staff may need additional training, a few glitches in our experience. 6-1 Food was adequate at best, I felt they skimped on amounts of food given to residents. 7-2-very limited, many substitutions/deletions from listed activities; but for patients who aren't highly functional ok. 8-4 definitely the least expensive center I found, however we decided the additional cost was worth it for the increase in care, ect that my sister receives.

I would have to rate all eight of them a five. I have been very satisfied with the facility. The country setting is beautiful, and their resident fees are fair. They have a wonderful in home nurse and she is great!

Like I said if they need extra care, it's not the best place. When [name removed] first got there, they had about 9-10 residents. As his stay went on more resident came in and the quality of care dropped drastically, every time I went there, as many as three times a week. He was wet and smelled of urine. They never put him to bed (ever) they told me he wouldn't sleep in his bed. I guess they thought he would do it on his own. They let him sleep in the recliners in the community rm. His legs kept swelling to the point of blistering and sores. He was admitted to Grafton hospital because of this. Even the EMT's told me that they didn't think he was getting the proper care he needed for his condition. So basically, I feel that Beulahland is strictly simply for assisted living, not for any special care.

The owner and the manager are so helpful and informative and I believe they feel like all their residents are considered family. The manager has (I feel) gone out of her way to be helpful, kind, and has been there, with no exception, to help me with anything I requested. I just love them. They were truly a God send.

Beulahland is a quaint facility. It’s in a country setting out of the way of the hustle of the world. The staff are knowledgeable and kind hearted. It’s like a home away from home for its residents. They have group activities and therapy if needed. Healthy food that’s editable for all the residents. I highly recommend Beulahland. I only wish I had found it sooner for my husband.

My loved one is a resident at Beulahland Assisted Living. The staff at this facility are great people. The food is home cooked. It's a clean and comfortable setting at this facility. Communication is on top of everything. I would highly recommend this home to family and friends.

The overall appearance of the community is great, every time we come to visit the place is always nice, clean, tidy and the food is good. They could work better on their communication consistency and their correspondence with the families. During the tour the communication was great, but once our loved ones moved in it really seemed to decline.

They take excellent care of my loved one. There is only two things that I would complain about. The first being the turnover of staff and the second being the activities were missed during the staff turnover. The meals were horrible for a while. They have new people buying groceries and fixing new meals. In the past there there was nothing nutritious about the food. Again, this has been fixed and they now have balanced meals. I was able to brought a refrigerator to my loved one for her to allow me to bring some food to her. The value is good, and this community is out in the country. There are some houses around along with wooded areas. The community is clean, and you can't smell urine throughout this community. It is similar to a dormitory for college. During this pandemic time they have kept all residents and staff safe. They haven't had any cases of COVID.

My friend is well taken care of and the food is good. Staff provides good care and I feel the cost is fair. I feel they take good care of my loved ones. My brother in law was here and he received great care too. I would recommend Beulahland to anyone.

I came to Beulahland and I am getting stronger from my physical therapy treatments. Food is really good. I like my room mate and the staff is great.
