The cost is extreme, but mom is worth it. The [fee removed] up front fees for admin seems a bit high, but they did throw in a pillow, sheets and blanket and a small refrigerator for drinks. The turnover of staff is ongoing, but the main caregiver for mom is constant, so she hasn't noticed. She's been in Brookdale since July and has recently been put on Hospice, so she receives a lot of comforts care. Her health seems to be improving.
