Its been a learning experience since [date removed]. We must have judged some things in the beginning. However I think Brookdale could be more informative on details, especially when its a new comer. My mom is treated well, she and others think the food could be better. Its is a nice facility and kept clean. They upgraded the dining hall with new furniture. I think overall its going good.

Cleanliness- The hallways and main areas are very clean. Rooms are not vacuumed and mopped regularly and when they are, they don't do behind/under beds. Friendliness- It really hard to rate this. I feel like I had built relationships with several key folks who I knew I could depend on and would help me. They have fired almost everyone who was there when Mom arrived in late August and the new people seem bothered by family and residents. I currently have no one I can call or text if I have an immediate need. Quality of Care- It depends on who is on duty and how many folks are on duty. Admin Staff- All of the admin staff have left. Some positions have been filled. An email was sent out 1 time about a admin staffing change. The rest I have no idea who they are, which positions have been filled and which have not, and almost any time I want to speak to someone in a particular position Im told "They are on vacation." Food- This is a constant complaint I hear from my Mom. Food is bland, food is hard and tough and she is unable to eat with her dentures. Activities- Activities are better than they used to be. The problem is that most residents look at the calendar constantly because they like the activities, but sometimes I go, sometimes they don't, and sometimes they are canceled or changed with no notice. Value for Money- Based on the other places at visited , this one is very reasonable. However, if the other places have better food, consistent employees, and follow the calendar day the residents, we wouldn't mind paying a little more. The problem is , you don't know until we put your loved ones somewhere how it's going to shake out.

Overall, my mom liked this place. I am not sure if it would suit her at this point. They are currently doing upgrades to the facility.

I would rate them all fives. They took very good care of my mother. I definitely would recommend the facility. When she wasn't eating, the lady that was in charge of the dining room kitchen called me up to tell me my mom wasn't eating and she was concerned and I really appreciated that. The nursing staff always answered any questions that I had. I went there all different times a day almost every day and the place was always clean and everyone was well taken care of.

I probably would have said 4 or 5 when Mom 1st moved in [date removed], but now I would have to say a 1. Multiple people have been fired recently and while I understand it's a personnel issue, they need to get a full staff there. Today, for example, the cook and/or the new dining room manager didnt show up and there was no hot breakfast. 45 minutes after breakfast is supppsed to be served, they let the residents in and gave them cold cereal. Something is wrong with Moms door and and has locked herself out 4 times in 2 days. This morning she could find no one wirh a key to let her in. She does not have a key to her room. She is going to leave her door open when she goes out of her room which makes her feel uncomfortable especially since her room is beside an outside door. They have multiple events on the calendar that they never do. Weekly visits to the Y have been on there since December. I gathered all the material she needed to go and they havent been 1 time. She loves her room and has made several good friends.

The sales manager [name removed] has gone out of her way to help bring our mother into the community. She is very compassionate, she listened to our needs and went out of her way to help us. We love the upgrades to the community with fresh paint throughout the building. Our mothers suite has new carpet, blinds and paint. The care has been great and the staff has been wonderful.

The staff that works with the people living at this facility are very pleasant and helpful! Like everywhere, they are understaffed! The management staff could be more informative at the beginning when residents are new! The manager seemed overwhelmed and is not a people person, could be more pleasant. The food is excellent! I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

Our loved one is very happy with the care services they provide, and compared to other communities in the area this one has a good value. The staff members do a good job keeping the residents active and engaged. Everyone was very nice when we first came to visit and they really went out of their way to help us out whenever we needed it and it was done in a timely manner. We are very happy with where our loved one is at.

I toured this community for my father, and his needs. Everything went well for the most part. The community was well-kept from what I saw. The staff I met was kind, and helpful. The experience was good one, but I did find another community that suited out needs better.

We did a rehab stay here for 3 weeks. Overall, we were happy. Longer term, though, the additional fees would have put this well out of our range. There were also some communications issues. We were never given an email address to communicate with anyone and the phone seemed to be answered quite often by random residents. Dad loved the food, though, and they had a well equipped rehab gym for him.

Our experience has been going good for my mom and our family. It is a good fit for her and i would absolutely recommend the community. They staff are all the very good and nice. The facility is clean and clear everywhere. My mom has not complained about the food so it seems she likes the food.

My father is doing pretty well here. Everybody has been wonderful. The food has been his biggest problem. I do think they could do a better job cleaning his room. Most of the staff is helpful and kind. There are activities offered. Overall he is in good hands.
