It was excellent. They were awesome. Mom was only in there 6 days before she passed. But. They were 5 stars. The entire place was clean. Residents see. Staff. Did a great job. I felt like they cared. Michelle was great. And the lead nurse. I can't remember her name. I think [name removed]. But I'm probably wrong.

Brookdale Assisted Living is a small community. It is in a nice residential neighborhood which makes it feel more comfortable. It has been open for a while and is starting to show some signs of wear, but it looks like updates are in work as possible. I would feel comfortable having my mother live there. The residents and staff are happy and comfortable with each other.

My biggest complaint is having to wait on staff to let you in and out of the main entrance. I've waited patiently as long as fifteen minutes before someone came by to let me in or out of the building. It would be so nice if they would give each room a specific code so we could let ourselves in or out and allow the staff to be about their jobs without constant interruptions.

The staff at Brookdale were so nice, extremely helpful and reassuring at every phase of our experience there. My Mother actually stayed about a week and a half all told because of her condition. We got her back there for what turned out to be her last two days under Halo Hospice that Brookdale recommended. They were a blessing for me. And also extremely helpful and considerate. I highly recommend Brookdale, I was and am still convinced Mother would have so enjoyed living there. I felt so comfortable and I know she would have been as well. She loved the pecan pie prepared by their chef. His cuisine looked delicious and home-made, not typical institutional food. I'm so happy A Place for Mom recommended them to us.

The staff are very caring and the facility is kept clean. The meals are cooked very good with a well diverse menu. The laundry can be done by a staff member or you can use their laundry to do your own.

When we knew it was time to find alternative care for our mom, we reached out to A Place for Mom. They were prompt with a response and were very informative as to what was available, locations nearby, and pricing. They even offered to line up a visit for us. We knew Brookdale Weatherford would possibly be a good fit for our mom. Our initial visit was thorough and they even fed us lunch! It was delicious. I’m so glad we made this decision and I’m thankful for the assistance we received through A Place for Mom. Brookdale is perfect. Once our mom moved in, I swear she got younger! Her spirits lifted and she said she felt like she was home. I would recommend Brookdale Weatherford to anyone.

All have been helpful and easy to work with. My dad sometimes complains about night staff but no one else is around- so who knows. My father is a difficult person to care for - definitely not a warm and fuzzy guy. But a few have won him over and they still give him great care despite his attitude. There's a good feeling when you walk into the building. Food kinda goes through phases that seem associated with staff turnover. My dad received a burned grilled cheese one night. Why would you even give that to someone? Nothing but a salad that was basically lettuce one night. My dad hasn't lost his appetite so those times are frustrating. Also- my dad eats in his room. When they pick the tray up- if it wasn't eaten- maybe ask questions. You don't like burnt grilled cheese or you aren't hungry? Can I bring you a snack?

So far it has been wonderful. Staff has been extremely caring and attentive. We came from an AI that I was quite unhappy with and I am finally starting to feel the know in my chest ease up. I was looking for a home for my dad that would allow him to smoke outside and they are set up for that with a lovely courtyard. When I went to visit- I liked it so much I never looked elsewhere.

From the moment the front door is open you can feel the love! Literally. From the friendly greeting to the residents enjoying their time together in the beautiful common area. No which season or holiday season, it is always so beautifully festive! When residents are in their dining room, it's so lovey to hear to sound of good conversations with friends of good food. Food cooked with love tastes the best! The courtyard, the birds, the porch! Wonderful care. What more could you want for the ones you love the most!

My mother in law has been at Brookdale for four years. The care she receives is excellent from the staff. I don’t worry about her like I did when she was living on her own. She is happy and is doing well at the age of 97. I highly recommend Brookdale to anyone who is looking for a safe and caring home for their loved one.

I come to Brookdale Weatherford once a month to sing for the residents. It always feels like home here, and the residents are so sweet and friendly. The staff is quick to make accommodations for every resident, and truly makes sure that they're satisfied. It always smells so nice in here and there are always activities and fun for every resident, no matter their accessibility. The staff is nice and truly care about these residents. Everyone at this facility puts their hearts into their work and it definitely shows. I've been to other facilities that don't exactly radiate friendliness or cleanliness, and this facility has them all beat! It's also a smaller facility, so it's easier for the residents to get around without confusion.

Brookdale Weatherford is one of the cleanest facilities that I have ever been to. Upon walking into the building, there is a pleasant smell, and it always smells fresh and clean. When ringing the doorbell at the front door, there is always someone to great you over the intercom or in person. The staff is friendly and help residents and family members with any questions or concerns. There are activities and entertainment for residents of any age, and they truly enjoy engaging in these activities. There is a beautiful, enclosed courtyard that really "makes" the community. There are many types of plants and flowers, as well as turtles and fish for the residents to enjoy! Overall, this facility is the nicest facility that I've been to, and it's a smaller, tight knit community that holds many friendships between staff and residents.

The community itself is not big at all, it really has this comfortable and cozy feeling to it. It does not feel industrial, it has more of a homey feel to it. The staff members there are very very friendly and accommodating. They do have bingo several times a week as well as other things. The meals and dining service is just okay, they do not have much of a variety or other choices to choose from.
