Small, family like Atmosphere
No one wants to put their mother in a home. Due to progressing dementia and we all work full time combined with much needed safety and supervision we chose DeWolf. It is a small, warm, and friendly atmosphere with lots of opportunities for engagement with other residents and staff. She even was able to bring her little dog. She has made friends and has enjoyed some of the activities she has chosen to participate in. The staff is amazing. They communicate well with me. I'm thankful we found a safe positive environment for her.

DeWolfe Place is an assisted living community located in Marion, Ohio. We are two blocks west of Garfield Park and several entertainment options are nearby. Our beautifully landscaped grounds include a private courtyard that provides the perfect setting for our residents to work in the garden, enjoy cookouts and relax in the shade.

The Right Place
Finding DeWolfe has been a blessing. I give a 4 star grade for Cleanliness, Activities, and Value. Staff, meals, and quality of care get a grade of 5 as well as our overall experience. Dad passed in March. Mom has been doing well. There has been some recent staff turnover but no drop in care quality. We have been very happy with DeWolfe. Exactly the right place for Mom

Good experience at DeWolfe
We were all very satisfied with her treatment at DeWolfe Place. Our loved one didn't take part in activities, but what I was able to see, it was all good. The staff members were great and the food was very good ( compared to the food at community name removed!) she liked the staff and told us so.

Truly Feels Like Home
I am very happy with the place. The care services is wonderful. The food has been very good. I would not be hesitate to recommend to anyone else. The staff is very ?loving. It is very age appropriate. It's a cozy and clean environment. It feels like home when you walk in. I feel very safe with my loved one being there.

Good Experience
It was a good experience. The facility was bright and clean. Their food was good. And their people were really nice there. They seemed to take care of things the way you would expect them to.

My visit to DeWolfe Place
My husband and I went to DeWolfe Place in March for a tour. My husband’s mom is 95 and living on her own.
We were thinking it was time for mom to have a home where care and independence could be available for her. DeWolfe Place is a home where we could see mom make friends and also receive care. DeWolfe Place treats people like family.

We recently moved our mother into DeWolfe Assisted Living. Our mother chose this ALF because she liked the location which is tucked into a nearby neighborhood where the daily life of raising families is visible and our mother is able to watch the seasons change in the mature trees that surround DeWolfe.
The staff at DeWolfe has been outstanding starting with [name removed](Manager) and [name removed](Marketing). They are dedicated to making new residents feel at ease during a tough transition in life and their dedication goes well beyond their 9 to 5 schedule. Getting started on the right foot is key to creating the pleasant atmosphere and it is evident here at DeWolfe as both residents and the staff are warm and welcoming. This was important to us as our mother lived in her home for 63 years and what could have been a “traumatic” transition for her actually ended up giving her a reason to be more active.

DeWolfe Place is the most friendly nursing facility I’ve ever visited. The staff is very knowledgeable and kind and I could sense the love they have for the residents. They make you feel right at home! There are many activities and the chef spoke to me about their menus

Our families experience
The DeWolfe Place is having some changes in their staffing and management so at times the friendliness somewhat varies. However this community, in this area is the best for memory care. Their services and everything that is offered is wonderful. They do try their best when it comes to the activities, but with memory care patients we do understand the difficultly, but they are doing a great job with the meals and dining service.

Charming, caring home for Mom
While searching for "A place for "Mom, we found this hidden gem in our own back yard. Very clean, comfortable and well managed. My sisters and I love the small , family like atmosphere for our mother .
This was important to us as our mother suffers with memory loss and we did not want her living in a large senior complex. With the help of a competent and caring staff, my Mom transitioned very well.
The facility is secure with a good mix of independent residents along with residents needing assistance. The staffing levels are an excellent ratio of staff to residents.

Home Sweet Home Away From Home
The "homey" atmosphere at DeWolfe House appealed to me the first time we walked through the building. I liked the fact that it seemed organized and everything was set up with the residents' needs in mind.
The residents I have talked with seem at ease and happy there. To me, that is key.
When I have a problem, management has been available and eager to listen and to find a solution. To me, that too is key.
I am glad my friend is there, safe and sound.
