About Drexel Horizon
Drexel Horizon is a red-brick independent living community for seniors age 62+. The community is located amid a peaceful residential neighborhood in the suburb of Cicero, Illinois, which is less than 10 miles southwest of Chicago.
The apartment-style, pet-friendly community offers homelike and spacious one-bedroom apartments complete with a full kitchen and a private patio or balcony. Beyond living within minutes of the local hospital, seniors can feel at ease knowing each apartment has a built-in, round-the-clock emergency call system. Additionally, residents have access to on-site laundry rooms and live-in managers.
While living at Drexel Horizon, seniors have access to a wide range of indoor and outdoor amenities, as well as recreational activities. Featured within the community are exciting and stimulating areas like a fitness center, a communal kitchen, a movie theater, and a library. In addition to indoor common areas, the community has a beautiful patio where seniors can host barbeques on the communal grill.
