Excellent care at New Day Elkhorn
New day has an awesome staff!! Stacy the activities director is the absolute best!! They are always clean, friendly, and also welcoming! After looking at 13 other facilities, when I walked into New Day, I knew it was perfect for my mom! I can’t compliment the amazing staff enough!!

Tender Reflections serves seniors, male and female seniors (55+ years), the frail elderly and the care of persons with irreversible dementias such as Alzheimer's disease. We are dedicated to having our resident's age in place. This means we provide care for the natural or clinical changes associated with aging. We see most of our residents to life end by meeting identified needs using staff, family and alternative services such as hospice, given the specific needs can be met safely and effectively within our scope of capabilities.
We also offer Respite care, as defined as temporary placement for no more than 28 consecutive days for care, treatment or services. This may be provided for persons with or without dementia. Respite services are dependent on room availability and an assessment assuring the person's needs are congruent with this program.

The staff , activities are FANTASTIC!!! EMILY & LUNA, STACY deserve stars ?? on the caregiver walk of Fame??. It's always clean, staff is so nice, I feel so welcomed!!! I looked at 13 other places. Thank goodness for a very snobby nurse at a different facility, New Day came to my rescue!! I am so grateful to New Day!!! I have to drive 30 minutes, but it's worth it!! My mom suffered a massive stroke, and is now walking with a walker, and talking!!! She is playing Bingo, smiling, and socializing!! All thanks to the wonderful staff at New Day!! ??

All of the staff was very friendly and respectful. My mom enjoyed the food. She also enjoyed the activities and the prizes. I did notice an odor of ammonia, urine. Security was top notch, and that was a concern. Thank you to the entire staff for comforting my mom at the end of 95 years. The contact from the owner after admission was great customer service. I would recommend this facility to others.

My Dad needed a memory care facility and I didn't know where to start. Little did I know there was a facility close by us that was exactly what we needed. It is a very scary sensitive time in your life when you're having to find devoted care for a loved one. They answered all of my questions in a very patient caring manner. I highly recommend you give them a call if your loved one needs full time assistance.

We chose Tender Reflections of Elkhorn because we needed something close to where I lived, a friend of mine had her father here and she had good things to say, and they had availability at the time. Her room size here is adequate for her needs. They do also have different room sizes you are able to choose from. I have eaten here and I thought the food was good, she also has not had any complaints. The best part about the community so far has been the peace of mind of knowing she is safe and taken care of. Overall, I would recommend this community to others.

I paid my father’s monthly rent for the month but unfortunately my father passed away on the 8th of that month. I was told I would receive a refund for the 3 weeks. That was 2 months ago. I have placed many phone calls to the Elkhorn facility as well as the billing department. All I get are lies for I am still waiting for the refund. My experience with this facility caring for my father was poor and now with not getting the refund it’s only lowering my opinion even further of Tender Reflections

I just moved my family member in this month. Beautiful facility. Staff are nice and management helped me with all my questions and worries. Younger staff that like there phones but overall a great experience. I was there yesterday and management and staff were doing activities. Just don’t feel staff should have there phones on them during lunch while feeding residents. That’s disappointing.

We put our mother at Tender Reflections in March of 2018. The administrator at that time was caring , helpful and filled with love. Her and the staff were so caring of what we wanted for our mom. Then the main administrator left and slowly things started not happening. We had concerns but the staff were so good to our mom we couldn't move her. In January, I recived a call from the building, and lone behold it was MY administrator that I cared for so deeply that left and she is back. I know her and her team will get what needs to be done with caring and understanding.

Our Dad was well taken care of. Spent his last days as happily as possible. Recommend TR and should go on a tour to see for yourself. The memory program here was worth the money.

I am not happy with this community and the way that the staff treat my brother. The staff lie about what they are doing for my brother when I talk to him everyday. The CNA"S are suppose to walk my brother and they do not. The nurses do not order is medication in a proper time so sometimes he has to go with out it. The administration does not ever get a hold of me or answer any calls. However, the community is clean and neat all the time.

I am writing this for my husband. We have not seen any activities so far. He is not happy with the food for supper. Also he waits a long time after he pushes his buzzer. They seem to be short staffed. The staff that is there is very friendly and helpful. Many things are a la carte which for the price of staying there should be included. We would prefer a place where the dementia patients are separate.
