About 10 of the 41 residence have similar cameras in their room. I can see from the ring camera in my wife's room that she gets very good care and when I visit the Monarch House, I can see the same happening. \nI've had interactions with the administration, the food service, the personnel, administrator, and the maintenance staff. Plus I've had face-to-face interactions with the CNA's and have been very impressed with their care of my wife. \nAs far as value for the price of the services, I've compared the cost here and other assisted living facilities in the vicinity and I'm sure that we made the right decision in placing her at Monarch House. The quality of care compares very favorably to other assisted-living facilities.\n\nAdditionally, Monarch House gladly welcomes families to visit and even invites them to bring a pet during visits.\nThe entrances are monitored and only family and approved individuals can enter with a code or by permission of a receptionist who opens the inside glass doors remotely. Hospice workers and nurses have been very helpful too. Monarch House administrator, [name removed] has worked closely with Hospice too. The food has been good and she eats very slowly but they have been patient with her and not rushed her to finish. She usually finishes all of her meals but is slow doing so. [name removed] enjoyed the birthday party she attended for one of the residents. Monarch House has birthday parties each month for the residents birthdays that month with live music and dancing. The activities director has done an amazing job of keeping residents involved and sends out a calendar of activities to the families of the residents. Her room is very roomy and is kept clean. We have been invited to hang pictures on the walls which we have done to make her room more homey. We even hung a quilt on the wall behind her bed and brought in her curio cabinet with her figurine collection. We have the cabinet locked securely even though we haven't had any concerns with other residents bothering her things.
