The staff regularly reassured us that they were prepared and able to help him. I say 4 only because it is an older facility. The housekeeping staff was excellent and many times had extra duties in his room. They also cared about him as much as the other staff. The staff went above and beyond to help us feel welcomed. We were there almost every other day at different times each visit and all the staff was friendly. He was cared for as much as he would allow. He declined very quickly and required more and more care. If my stepfather didn't show up for dinner the kitchen staff left 2 PB&J sandwiches for him because that was his favorite and he would come out to eat around 9. They would send me photos so I knew he was eating. I'm sure they were good but because my stepfather wouldn't participate I can only speak to what I saw with others. The residents would be waiting excitedly for activities to start.
