She may not have been \"happy\", but her room was lovely, the food delicious, and the other residents so friendly that she was content. She realized that she wasn't able to stay in her own home any longer, and she could sense how grateful and pleased we were to have found such a wonderful place for her. She adapted readily to her new home.\nMom will be 99 in a few months. She has dementia and needs considerable assistance for daily living, but staff make sure that she is safe, comfortable and feels loved.
