I am very happy with this choice.I would say I have met many nice, kind and interesting people. After a year they feel like family. I grew up in this area so it was like a homecoming and the cost was an important consideration.

It was great until it wasn't.
My mom was pretty happy at Sierra Hills. She made friends. She found activities to keep her busy.
Toward the end it was the small things that changed that made her less happy. They took the crackers off the table at dinner (which made them all ask for them and then horde them). Then they stopped providing a place mat.
Then things really turned. My mom started to notice cockroaches in her room. Told the general manager. Her response "Darn, the bug guy was just here...he'll be back next month."
But the straw that broke the camel's back was when my mom was robbed. She passed away on a Saturday. When we went to begin to empty out her apartment we noticed that things were missing. An employee has been arrested for the theft, but the general manager did nothing. She told me to call the police. She covered for the employee who is the suspected thief (we caught him in her room, so it wasn't a stretch).
Some of the staff members were friendly and great.

I recently toured for my grandma with my mom and was really impressed by so many things. The staff was very patient and friendly, answered all of our questions. The building looked great and honestly was sparkling clean. Needless to say it was a yes!

Beautiful Open House and fabulous chef's showcase. The event was wonderful, all the staff were spot on and I totally enjoyed myself. The interior remodel is lovely and I really like the look of the upgraded apartments.

Review for Holiday Sierra Hills
I would recommend Sierra Hills to any one that asks. They treated my mom like family and gave her back a quality of life that she had been missing. She was extremely happy there. We used [removed] who is an independent contractor working inside of Sierra Hills. They were essential to my mom's care as her health declined so we didn't have to relocate her to another facility. That perk of having inside of Sierra Hills enhanced the whole experience there. I can not say enough good things about the entire experience with Sierra Hills. I am extremely grateful they were there for my mom.

I personally love the staff and have no complaints!!!!!! There are games every day to participate in with other residents . There have been several musical groups performing for special occasions we can all attend. Shopping outings are available. Church and a Bible study group. Many different ways to meet the other guests.

a nice community
The Sierra Hills community is always kept very clean and the staff members are extremely friendly. The general manager and sales person were very thorough and really seemed to want to help solve our problems. We never had a meal there but they looked good and the activities we did get a chance to see looked fun. Based on the experience we have had so far with Sierra Hills we would recommend them to other families.

A place of care and security for mom
This is the best community and place around in my area. This community is also affordable. The staff are great and have always been very responsive to any of my needs. My loved one also likes the meals. The tour was good and they showed me everything that I needed to see and my loved one is very happy with her place and where she is at now. I feel very secure having my loved one here.

This place needs new management in the worst of way. It's awful. Inadequate, incompetent and unable to make a decision without checking with Corporate (all the way over in Florida) first. The food? Don't start me.

The community is very friendly. Nice to have 3 meals a day. Lots of fun, only problem is we have standing water around cottage where we live. Otherwise it is great! Place to live.
