The set up of the unit allows residents to eat, participate in activities, or relax all in the same open area. This means caregivers can meet the varying needs of residents in a safe environment. The secondary activity space allows for specific group activities in a different setting giving residents a reason to move about. The apartments are spacious and have several built in safety features. While all of these living arrangements are important what really makes the place come alive is the staff. These caregivers are always hustling. They ensure that mom is dressed in a timely fashion and out among the people. Sometimes she participates sometimes not but she is always where the action is. From activities directors to nurses to caregivers the engagement with the residents is top notch. The consistency of staffing speaks well of the unit.
