The director doesn't exhibit great listening skills, has a passive dismissive tone. The environment is safe but lacks the variety of enrichment and outdoor space I'd like to see in the memory care unit. I take process not completely transparent at onset and upon the decision/move-in process; we felt a bit misled in hindsight. Convenient location.

Every one at Vitality that I met was friendly and helpful. My dad has thrived there. If he doesn’t show up for a meal, they go check on him. They call me with updates. I highly recommend this facility for anyone looking for assisted living.

We weren't sure, but Vitality ended up being the perfect place for Dad
My 97 year old father had lived with us for 7 years, but we were getting to the point where it was hard for us to safely provide the care he needed. After visiting several facilities, we decided on Vitality Arlington, where he moved directly into memory care.
After a short adjustment period, he came alive again. He had pretty much stopped talking to us at home, but now he was talking to others and he talked to us! He laughed and smiled. He regained his enthusiasm for the world and travel. He encouraged us and shared his wisdom. We became his children again and we had some profound conversations before he passed.
He was well-cared for by the staff and he bonded with those who creatively helped him adapt to his new environment. Vitality enabled him to reclaim part of his former, which eased some of the pain of his passing. Vitality was the right place for our dad.

I would say that the staff bend her backwards to get what the residence want. The only exception is that I have asked them repeatedly to provide sufficient Internet/Wi-Fi service. So that my mom can have close captioning on her phone and they still have not delivered on this request.

I would recommend the facility.
Aging is difficult. Vitality is perfectly nice though. he job of taking care of the elderly is a difficult task, at best. I think the mgr, [name removed], does a good job. This is my first experience with this issue so I am no expert on what to expect.

Mom seems to get all the help she needs. The room is very nice and a care person always seems available. I still haven't gotten care plan but she seems comfortable. The food however seems fatty and not so great.

A great place to call home.
After visiting several assisted living communities my family and I chose Vitality Arlington for its prime location, the caretakers to residents ratio, greeting personnel, willingness of management to accommodate my move, and the value for the services provided. The wellness center staff is alert and aware of the residents’ needs. Management knows each resident by name. I do not make it a habit to write reviews, but this community has been good for my recovery and I want to share that with others.

The initial communications from tour scheduling to move in was a bit disjointed, we were left a bit confused initially but it all came together in the end. The location is ideal, it's close to our home and offers lots of outside spaces to explore when visiting; the activities coordinator is always present and engaged when we visit; the Wellness director has communicated well; and there is a lovely outdoor courtyard. We chose Vitality because it fit the criteria as closely as possible for the most beneficial and comfortable environment for our loved one.

Terrific Energy, Marvelous Meals, Superb Staff
It's quite lively, the residents are often out in the community spaces, the staff is wildly friendly and helpful, the dining room has many options and its staff are keyed into each person's special needs for meals. That's a significant feat, especially since food becomes the center of so many residents' interests. An exception would be the busy people in charge of the caregivers who tend to be not as helpful for family members. Another thing that bothers me is that there is little communication about her care or needs from staff, and little follow-up when a concern is raised.

My mom's experience.
What our family likes most about the Vitality Living Arlington community is all the different social activities they have for the residents there. They have French conversation, wine tasting, a movie theater and a hair salon. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families looking for a place for their loved ones.

Great staff
Compared to others we looked at, the value for the money was great.
The staff were really amazing to work with and they were all on the same page and knew what was going on. Their communication between staff and with the families was amazing. They were always responsive and helpful whenever we needed them.
I would recommend Vitality Living Arlington to other families.

Vitality was our third choice. The sales associates were all very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Our job market after covid makes it easy for the assisted living places to find good sales associates. Care givers are hard to find.

Community Tour
The resident rooms were smaller at Vitality Living Arlington than at the place we chose. But other than that, I thought it was great. I just preferred a location that was closer to me and less congested. Vitality Living was right in the city, with more traffic and a more difficult parking situation.
