The dementia unit, called Tapestry, is quite large. There are uncluttered hallways for patients to walk, no areas where someone may get lost. Patients have two dining areas with assistance in both. Staffing, like aides, are limited and sometimes difficult to find. Staff has a tendency to group patients together in the dining areas so they can watch them. Nurses are located in their office except when passing medication. Dining seems limited, my mother doesn't really like the food but they do encourage fluids during the day. Activities are limited and the patients seem to watch. A lot of residents mill about looking for things to do. \nNursing staff is friendly, facility is beautiful. They have raised bed gardens outside but residents aren't out in the area without family or guests. My mom is on hospice currently and they are wonderful keeping us involved.\nRooms are large and well lit.
