Willow Fork is a very nice facility, safe, and with hardworking employees. The chef offers very good and nutritious food. Sometimes they are short staffed and with a new director, they try to make it better. They offer parties for the residents and their relatives/caretakers. The rooms of the residents often need more cleaning. The facility is very well decorated with beautiful flower arrangements. It is a nice community and I give it 4 stars.

Everyone there is caring, loving, and takes special care for each residence. I used to feel guilty every time I left my mother in the facility. She was in before but now when I leave my mother, I have a smile on my face, knowing she is happy and in good hands. It is a very special place if you were looking for your loved one.

It was a beautiful, cheerful place. The staff were amazing, compassionate and attentive. The administration was outstanding. The facility director was so engaged and vested in each and every patient. I was simply amazed and so grateful. The care at each level was wonderful. Let me add this. We visited several places and interviewed staff and administration. They were all OK. Willow Fork was just ... more. It made you happy when you walked in. It was sunny and colorful and just joyous. Almost every member of the staff had a personal family member that had dementia - it brought out such empathy, compassion and understanding. Everywhere we looked, we saw a member of the staff quietly sitting with a resident, or walking with them, or stroking their arm. They were quiet and gentle and could read what each person needed. It was lovely to see. We went in some places that were nice, but they were dark and depressing, so the brightness really impacted me at Willow Fork and immediately lifted my spirits. But the spirit of the staff was just so beautiful. It made it OK for me to leave my mother in their care. The last night I was with my mother, the med tech, [name removed], stayed and worked a double shift because she felt my mother was going to pass that night and she wanted to be there for my mother and all of us. How do you quantify something like that?

Rated facility overall a 3 because my husband got out one evening at shift change. It was almost an hour before he was located & I was called at that time. My husband was in a wheelchair & location was on a busy street. My husband didn't receive the medical care he needed due to a large place on genital area plus they don't treat residents who may become physical. He was sent to a behavioral hospital where his treatment was nonexistent. After a week he had to be transported to hospital ER & was unresponsive when I arrived. He died 4 days later. Unfortunately I had Covid during this week but got no information from the facility & behavioral hospital never returned calls.

I am satisfied with the care and attention that my loved one is receiving. Have been very pleased with my choice. Handled the storm great. Residence didn't even notice they were without power. Had plenty of backup power to function normally.

Honestly, we have been overall been unhappy with the place. Right now, not sure we can afford a different place, though! They need to greatly improve on more of a variety of activities. They also need to keep up with my loved ones laundry. My loved ones care is also average. However, we do like the kindness and friendliness of the staff. My loved one has a nice size room as well.

I wanted a memory care facility in the Katy area & there were only 2 designated as such. I only visited this one & was comfortable with the choice. In hindsight I probably should have checked other one also.

My loved one was previously a resident at Willow Fork Alzheimer's Special Care Center and everything was very good for her at this facility. The cleanliness and friendliness were good. The staff, care services, activities, meals, and value for cost were also good. My father-in-law (loved one's primary caregiver) and our family were pleased with this facility. I would recommend Willow Fork Alzheimer's Special Care Center to others as a possible option for their loved one.

We chose Willow Fork because of the price point for the level of care that was provided. The memory care units seem to have a lot of different levels of care, they do a great job tailoring and understanding each different level. I have not been able to visit much due to covid, but the times I have been there they do a great job redirecting people who are having issues. The ones who do not have any issues, they do a really good job engaging with them. The care is very personalized based on your needs.

Our family likes the facility for our loved one. It has more of a home-like feeling and doesn't feel as institutional as some places. The person we've talked to that helped us get her moved in was very helpful. We haven't really had any negatives so far.

I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones. It is set up more like a home environment than a nursing home. The staff are wonderful to work with. The communication with the staff is responsive with any questions or concerns I may have about my loved one.

When our loved one first moved in this community was bought out by another senior living, and the friendliness of the staff in the beginning was very low, like a 1 out of 5, but now the staff are incredible they get 5 stars. The changes they have made have been for the better. The meals and dining service is fabulous, the meals are delicious and appetizing. They are on top of any questions and concerns, the new nurse is absolutely right on the money, the administrative team are excellent, the every day staff are lovely. We just felt so welcomed walking in to the community. The activities are still pretty limited, but they are working very hard on bringing them back. They are working on hiring an activities coordinator for the weekend and they are open to the idea of having volunteers come and help with activities during the week since the covid restrictions are finally lifting. They do have some right now like games and exercise classes, but we would just like to see a little more of a variety.

My parents live here and they’re pretty happy. They have entertainers come in for sing-a-longs and they provide physical therapy. The food is wonderful (which is saying a lot because my Dad is a picky eater) and they have a family night where the residents’ families can come eat with them. Everything appears to be clean and, anytime I visit, their room is clean. The staff is very responsive and is able to answer all of our questions. They’re big believers in socialization, which is something I like. Overall, our family is very pleased with this community. I recommend them.
