Woodmont is amazing
The staff is absolutely amazing. All were such a big help and the hospitality they showed me was amazing! They let me stay the week with my aunt to make sure she was comfortable and to unpack her. I honestly have no words to tell you how they all made me feel! I left my aunt feeling very comfortable at woodmont and her being in their care.

Overall the staff was enthusiastic, encouraging and they readily acknowledged all our concerns. The downside was that memory care floor seemed sad and dark and the common area was very small. There was a hint of a urine smell. I don't believe this is where I would want to be placed or for that matter put someone I loved. It's an older facility that doesn't look like it's been updated in some time.

Go to Woodmont and see how awesome it is. I would give that advice for any facility to be able to determine if it's the right place or not. Woodmont just has a positive vibe, kind staff, and kind residents.

When you place your loved ones in a facility, the expenses add up, but having someone that is genuinely dedicated, exceeds the cost of caring. The Director at Woodmont Senior living is a true example of these actions. She goes above and beyond and then some to make sure the residents needs are met. Her leadership sets an example for her carestaff and how they should perform their duties. Not only does she care about the residents, but she has transformed the interior of the building into a beautiful welcoming place to call home. She's committed, confident and caring as she makes each day a special one for these residents. None of them have asked to be there and under her care, they are comfortable and want to be there. I am thankful that Woodmont finally has the leadership that cares.

As soon as I walked through the entrance door I noticed a foul smell. The building is being remodeled. The newly remodeled rooms looked ok, but I couldn't get over the smell. We did not choose Woodmont for my mother.

Wonderful kind caring staff, wonderful Executive Director, such a nice lady and a beautiful well kept facility nice and clean and just pretty in every part you walk through. Truly feels like one big wonderful family and as comfortable as home. Placing a loved one here would be an absolute honor with no worrying, you can see and feel the big hearts all the staff have, such a blessing!

I’ve really liked the over 3 years that a family member has lived here and recently my spouse has moved here. Good care! It’s close to home and I can visit every day. My husband has adjusted well enjoys the enjoys the activities.

I was traveling to Tallahassee to see my loved one , I noticed the shortage of staff there was and how hard it was to get in touch with a supervisor. One morning I went up there to visit my loved one and the facility was completely empty with only one person there! I don’t believe anyone was there to watch those in memory care!! I came to the conclusion that residents are left to fend for themselves! When I visit my loved one wreaks as if they haven’t bathed in weeks!! The more I kept visiting, I kept hearing all the horror stories that went on at the community. The executive director [name removed]has been a nightmare to both residents and employees and has caused multiple staff members to quit. When I finally got my eyes on [name removed], my interaction with her was not positive! She is very unprofessional and lacks empathy and compassion. I do not feel it is beneficial for the current executive director to continue to stay due to her failure to meet the needs of the residents

There’s a lot to be said about a leader who not only listens but also genuinely cares . The Nurse at Woodmont - [name removed] takes this honor. Her care staff exudes the same qualities as they follow her lead in taking care of the residents . She takes the time to listen to the residents and that speaks volumes . She dedicates her time on weekends meeting the needs for residents . She’s the glue that holds that place together

They always make sure , your family members are good & taken care of . They have an outstanding staff , They are considerate, caring , and supportive . I came to Woodmont to visit my neighbor. Upon entering the building, residents and staff were laughing and enjoying themselves. The residents were happy and excited about an upcoming trip to the store. Inside, the faculty was smelled like pine and was decorated so nicely. All of the staff were happy and helpful. I was so happy to see smiling staff and residents at Woodmont!

I want to acknowledge three ladies who are making a difference. [name removed], the Director of Nursing who has a way with my Mother that gives me hope in knowing that she has the potential to do more than she knows at this point in her journey. [name removed], the Activities Director who is infectious and keeps not only my Mother uplifted but all of the residents engaged in stimulating activities. Lastly, I want to identify [name removed], the Concierge who goes above and beyond and then some. Granted she may be at the front desk, but she is also very much involved with the residents as she just talks to them as most of the time they just want that verbal Commnication. These ladies make a difference in a place where one day we may find ourselves in and I hope that there will be replicas of personalities and care that embodies these women.
