Cottages is clean, welcoming, place that makes you instantly feel at home. Very nice people and workers.

It was a very good experience, I really appreciated all the help, they answered my questions, the facility was clean. Since my dad was discharging they were very helpful.

They have great programs for the residents and a calendar of events that will keep them engaged daily. The staff are professional and caring.

This place is wonderful!! I hope it’s the future home for my loved one! The staff and the director were amazingly helpful and so kind !!!

Older looking facility but clean and well maintained. Lots of activities and two safe outdoor areas. Fun diner themed room and overall well decorated and inviting.

I like that's it's smaller and he seems to get better attention. They do try to get [name removed] engaged in more activities as well The other place he was at he was always in his room. Now he is out where there are other people

I was very satisfied with the tour. Not only were they willing to give tour on same day they were contacted, bit also on a Sunday. They helped us fill out appropriate paperwork to get an assessment done the following day to help place my dad, but she stayed late so I would not have to make a second trip the following day. She even brought us coffee, and a couple of very tasty fresh baked lemon cake. So far I really like the facility.

I would say a 5 because this Senior facility is the friendliest place I have ever been. Even the personnel has our interest above everything else. I would certainly recommend it to all seniors. The activities are so much fun. Transportation to appointments Tuesday and Thursday gives me a great peace of mind. Wednesday is shopping day at various stores. Meals have a lot to offer to please each person. Oh if you have a dog they will love their playground right outside of the dinning room, so you can watch them while you are eating in or outside where your pet is enjoying itself. Plenty of parking and nice amenities. My tour was handled by [name removed] whom is a pleasure to deal with during this Challenging time. The staff was nice and answered all my questions. Looks like they have a multitude of activities with a very large commons area. Price seems better than most and located in a good area with hospital and doctor's offices literally across the street.

We were very impressed overall, with the experience we had touring and educating ourselves with the Rancho Penasquitos Senior Living facility. The sales director was very welcoming and openly friendly, and very informative. It is evident that their number one focus is always on the families and the individual resident’s comfort and well-being. They want to know as much as they can about the resident, so they can give them the best care and experience during their stay. This was proven to be true throughout the meeting, which grabbed our attention and gave us a sense of peace when considering choosing this facility for our loved one! We were given a tour of rooms available, a tour of the three floor levels, and an invitation to stay for lunch and try out their culinary food meals provided to residents at 3 meals a day. This all will help us with our decision in choosing the proper place for our loved one.

The Sales Director, [name removed] did a great job of answering our questions, showing us several floor plans, and giving us updates on changes and improvements the facility has added or plans to add. We appreciated the data regarding resident to staff and resident to RN ratios. We appreciated the time she took, and the clear assisted living rates.

The living unit have a cozy, homey feel and are designed for maximum staff resident interaction. Staff are patient and attentive and encourage residents to participate in group activities. The daily schedule is designed to keep residents engaged.

Tour Director [name removed] was very warm and friendly and provided comprehensive information about Monte Vista. She showed me both studio and one bedroom apartments. Everything is on one level so very easy to get around. Lovely gardens and places where residents can sit outside. We went to dining area where group of ladies were sitting together talking and eating lunch. [name removed] introduced many of them by name and they all greeted me warmly. Also showed me the exercise room and pool area. Lots of daily activities planned and some Happy hours. A truly lovely place to live.

This facility was very clean and the environment was friendly. Everyone I came in contact with was smiling, kind, and expressed concern about my loved one. It appeared to me that their motto was “let’s make this work”.

[name removed] really helped to dispel some of the misconceptions of assisted living for me including the need to pay for a full caretaker versus an independent living arrangement at a assisted care facility. I didn't know that was a thing. When my aunt started living there, everyone had helped her get settled down and even the cook gave her some insight into her dietary restrictions not being an issue.

My husband likes the food a lot, and his screened in porch. He Also enjoys the outings a lot.

The tour was booked through A place for mom. It appeared we were not on the schedule when we arrived. It was taken care of and the tour was lovely. We toured several places on Friday and Bonita will not be on our list, unfortunately.

I appreciated they understood the need for me to place my dad in a facility that would meet his memory care needs. I would recommend Mission Villa to others

This facility seemed more like a family. In one cottage, the residents were dancing to 70s music in their main room when we came through. There was laughing and participation. The other cottage was less upbeat, but there was still a warm, welcoming feeling in the main room. The individual rooms are all private with their own bathroom. The price seems in range with the other ones we have visited. They seem interested in the likes and interests of the residents and offer enriching activities throughout the day. The view out one of the cottage dining area windows revealed the gates and fences meant to keep residents safe, but could make them feel like prison. The other views were less like that, so I felt better about that.
