A Banyan Residence

I toured this facility and found the staff to be friendly and attentive. The resort concept is very unique and my Mom loved the idea of have an apartment that opens on to the koi pond.

I was highly impressed by the number of staff in the facility and the engagement that each member had with the residents.

My parents have been residents of this assisted living community for the past three years. Over that time, I’ve learned that while no facility can care for your loved ones exactly the way you would, this community has provided a safe and supportive environment for my parents. The activities offered are engaging and thoughtfully run, and both of my parents truly enjoyed participating in them. My father recently passed away, and during that incredibly difficult time, the nursing staff and aides showed genuine care and compassion. Their support for both my mother and me went far beyond what I expected. The residents and broader community have also been wonderfully kind, which has meant so much to us. Assisted living is undoubtedly expensive and can never replace family, but I’m grateful that my parents have been in a place where they are safe, cared for, and surrounded by people who truly try to make a difference.

The facility was spotless and the staff were friendly,kind and knowledgeable about each resident. The gardens were very well groomed and one could see the genuine care each staff member has for the facility.

We found all the staff friendly, professional, eager to help and prompt.

My dad passed on [date removed] He was only at Banyan for 10 days before his passing, but The staff were very friendly and helpful. Only one was kind of a dud.....I think she was the accountant but that's usually the norm

5 on everything. It's a wonderful place with friendly, caring and knowledgeable staff. The food is awesome. The activities are great as well. The staff is very caring, friendly and knowledgeable. They know every resident by name and address them with respect. They are also very good at communicating with the family of the residents. I would recommend Banyan to anyone.

Mom passed this Jan, the Banyan was a great experience, Mom just didn't really want to be anywhere but with her family. So for recommendations I would suggest the Banyan Residence. It really was a great place.

The facility is beautiful, clean and welcoming. Staff is outstanding. They are competent, friendly, and caring.

They have been wonderful- in the year my father passed - my mother is still with them- they have been responsive and pro active in helping my mother and I move on after the death of my father.

We strongly recommend Banyan. The staff is fantastic, they care so very much and are very involved with taking care of everything for our mom. When ever we need anything we can reach out to the owners and get anything we need right away. They always take our calls and even if it is a text at 7 pm they respond. Best decision we ever made for the care of our mom.

Overall experience has been positive. Only from what I saw on zoom and my dad's reports the facility is clean The staff is very friendly and kind. Quality of care is adequate. My dad enjoys the meals and had filet mignon and ice cream which he loved! Lots of activities each day and trips to attend. Cost is affordable. Unfortunately , we did have to pay a steep fee upfront which you do not get back.

Never envisioned having to put my mother in a senior care facility so I was very cautious. Banyan was second on my visitation list, however, anyone else needing to make the decision for a family member should go here first and save yourself time in searching. The place is beautifully designed for care, comfort, and security I was searching for. My mother has been there almost a month and every person I have met from the director down to maintenance and housekeeping personnel are courteous, caring, and dedicated to making a nice living experience for all the residents. It is always clean and has a daily schedule of activities that keeps residents living in a lifestyle that keeps them active. Physically and mentally. There is a movie theater room, library, beauty shop, ice cream parlor, exercise and therapy room, dining hall, and a very nice Koi pond where my mother has to go several times a day to feed the fish. Make this your first stop when looking for senior care!!

I think A Banyan Residence is an excellent place with a great environment. The facility is beautiful. They serve good food. And the staff are caring and knowledgeable about dementia.

5 stars for all. The staff that work here are very friendly they take care of your loved one and allow you to feel that they are in great hands. What really sticks out is the way that they truly care and want to give you loved one a homey feel. I would absolutely recommend A Banyan Residence to others looking.

The staff are patient, kind, helpful, and proactive. The setting and size of the facility feels more like a tropical resort- the beautiful secure outside space is amazing- allowing my Dad to roam safely and allowing my mum peace of mind about his safety. The entire facility has a security fence around the perimeter- allowing the residents to roam and have outside time freely. For our family, the small size is a big plus- every staff member that I speak to knows my parents- they are greeted by name- by staff wherever we are in the facility. Banyan is unique in that a Memory Care resident and an Assisted Living resident can live in the same unit- that was the number 1 request from my mum. I give this facility my highest recommendation.

This is still a learning process for our family. The staff are very receptive to our questions, concerns, and feedback. The food has been pretty good when I have be able to enjoy a meal with my loved one. Some of the care they are able to provide include medication management, dressing assistance, and hygiene care. The dressing assistance and hygiene care could be improved a little bit. Overall, this is a good community for a loved one.

My loved one was asked to leave immediately due to care concerns and they didn't give us a 45 day notice.

It's a great place to be. If I were to go anywhere, that's where I would want to go. However the staff is young, and I found out they did not not comply with state rules regarding my loved one's care. Otherwise it was a great place.
