We have a 1 bedroom, the rooms CD are large, you feel like you have your own place. The staff are friendly, get you out for meals and activities. It's nice they can set their own temperature for their room. Good variety of activities.

The staff are really nice and friendly, the know each of the residents. The facility is welcoming. It is clean and not crowded. It does not look like a clinical facility more like an apartment/home. There are always activities to do from crafts to bingo to puzzles, etc. You can go check out the Facebook page for this facility!

The place is very clean, has a friendly environment. Wish there was more communication from the facility like it was in the beginning. The location is very wonderful and room size is a perfect fit! Food seems to be good haven't heard any complaints, and there are plenty of activities for those who wish to participate

We weren't there very long but everyone was wonderful. Very friendly and kind.

What we like the most about the community is the Friendliness of staff, cleanliness of building, and communication. Yes, we would recommend the community to others with the caveat that they should plan on either a motorized wheelchair or amigo type scooter for their loved one. The building is large and depending on where their room is, it can be too much to make the walk to the dining room and activities if using a walker.

Big Rapids Fields is a fantastic facility. All the staff are respectful, caring, kind, and truly called to do what they do. They will take excellent care of your loved one. They are also there to help you every step of the way, because navigating placing a family member in assisted living can be a bit of a roller coaster and is uncharted territory for most people. The rooms are spacious, they have daily activities for residents, many on site services, and it is spotlessly clean all the time. I highly encourage you to tour the facility, I know it will be at the top of your list for places to consider when the need for assisted living comes for a loved one.

Marshall Comfort Care provided mom a safe place and 3 meals a day. Conveniently located in a very quiet neighborhood - just perfect! Definitely recommend to others. Staff is very caring and conscientious

Great place to visit and loved the place. People and amazing workers that care for their people. Very clean, friendly, affordable and homey. The new addition will look great once it's done. Nice place for sure. Highly recommend it to anyone that needs a place.

The staff was great and did everything they could to accommodate my Dad. He was only there for a couple of weeks and didn't participate in an activity because of his health.

We were well satisfied the administration was great. A lot of activities and good meals.

We have had a very positive experience with August Haus! Starting with the administration helping with the process of moving mom in, it was a very smooth transition for her almost three years ago. I can not say enough good things about the entire staff, who have gone above and beyond. All are caring, loving, cheerful, positive, and giving. They take time to talk, engage, help with her needs. Some even joke and tease her, which brings a big smile on her face. I appreciate the timely updates and communication. A big thanks to the entire staff for their selflessness! We highly recommend August Haus!

They are very compassionate and helpful. The breakfast was good however, you need more than one waffle maker! The wait time was disappointing especially when one lady was making three herself! We were grateful to be able to use the kitchen area to feed our baseball team.

Everyone was wonderful they took great care of brother he passed away yesterday I would recommend it to anyone

The fields overall is one of the nicest places. It is not so overly large that the residents would feel swallowed up. I am glad we found it for my mom. Overall she is content and has some good friends to be with.

I was allowed to tour the facility (memory care unit) which is small and home-y. Each resident has their own apartment--either a studio or one bedroom. My sister has the one bedroom which is large, bright, and very comfortable. She has a microwave and a small fridge as well as a large private bathroom with walk-in shower with bench. Staff are attentive and interact well with all the residents (there are only 9 apartments in the unit)--calling them by name and encouraging them to participate with each other at meals, watching TV, etc. Intake staff were all very knowledgeable and answered all my questions without hesitation. In the month and a half my sister has been a resident, management has always been available to me to answer any question or address any concern. I have not observed meal times or a lot of activity times.

They accept Medicaid waiver, their rooms are partly furnished, and everyone pays the same rate --no extra costs for higher care levels. Very friendly. Typical ratio, around 1:10

The Staff was wonderful to the point that my mom considered them as family. The facility is beautiful and very clean. My family couldn’t have been happier with the care she received while she was there. Special Thanks to [name removed] the Administrator who was always there when we needed her most!

It has been going great. The atmosphere is doing well for Mom. Suggested Medication changes has done wonders. I would recommend Reed City Fields in a heartbeat. It has been the best thing for Mom

I was very impressed with the amount of different entertainment and activities there were. It wasn’t a long stay but my father really liked his room. I can’t sing enough praises for [name removed] and how wonderfully helpful and knowledgeable she was.

We are grateful to the many aids, nurses, cooks, residents who are making our mother's stay pleasant and well cared. They take time to joke with her and have a conversation about her interests. High honors to all the staff.
