Morningside of Laurel is a lovely place. Attentive staff, very clean, rooms. Everyone is so caring and concerned. My mother is safe and loved.

I like this place very much. I think it is a very friendly and helpful environment. They are very welcoming. The food is very good. My daughter put me here and she thinks very highly of this place. This place has a lot of value. They always make sure to ask what you like to do. I feel included and welcomed.

Morningside House holds a special place in my heart. My husband is a bit unique in that he’s younger and although he has advanced cognitive impairment he is incredibly fit and physically active. I hesitated for a long time to place him in a memory care community because I didn’t believe his needs for physical activity which for him is critical to his happiness, could be met in a large group setting where many may be not as active as he is. In fact, as I toured several communities in the area I found my concern was legitimate and I learned the most important factor to consider in choosing a memory care community is the team behind the facility. Once I met them I realized they’d make all the difference in my husband’s quality of life because they are dedicated to meeting the needs of each individual at Morningside House. My dad fell down a flight of stairs. After a stay in the hospital and a month in Rehab, we knew my parents had to quickly move out of their home and in to Assisted Living. My mom was in shock and was unable to help with the search for a new home. Thankfully, A Place For Mom recommended taking a tour of Morningside House. The facility is beautifully decorated and offers many activities. Immediately, we knew my parents would be well cared for there. Sadly, 3 days after moving in, my dad passed away. I can’t say enough about the staff-from admin office and nursing staff to the front desk. We didn’t even get a chance to know each other and yet, they treated our family like we were now part of their family. So many people were instrumental in going above and beyond to help us. The staff’s kindness and understanding of my dad’s passing and my mom’s transition from selling her home and loosing my dad was priceless. Thank you Morningside House of Towamencin!!

Our experience so far has been very good. I am pleased with the services and the facilities. The staff is always accessible and very responsive. The go out of their way to accommodate us. On the memory care unit the food looks and tastes like baby food sometimes...my Mom often asks me to bring her food because she won't eat what they are serving. It sometimes doesn't look too appetizing. Particularly for the money we are spending each month

We had to find an assisted living facility for our mother recently without much notice to look around. Morningside House was the first community I visited and became the standard others were judged against. My immediate impression of Morningside House was that it was well kept and looked practically brand new. The first floor greets residents and guests with an open atmosphere with a staircase leading to the second floor, and vaulted ceiling in the dining room. Part of the second floor can be seen from the first-floor reception area. The facility is warm and inviting and doesn't feel clinical at all! The staff is friendly and displays a sincere desire to make residents feel safe and cared for. I never feel guilty when leaving my mother after a visit because she's happy at Morningside House.

What an amazing organization that is very friendly and so family oriented you can feel the positive energy when you walk into a facility. Every member we were introduced to treated you like you family. We are so blessed to have our family member become part of a healthy living experience

This is a small facility that offers activities every day and good meals. This facility is very clean and the people are friendly. If there is a concern about your loved one, the aides will follow-up with a phone call. My mom is relieved to live in a community that she can be part of.

Morningside House is a great place for people who need an assisted living facility. Everyone is very friendly and efficient. We couldn't have made a better choice.

An unexpected journey for our family, but our entire experience over the last four months with the very caring staff at Morningside House has been very positive and reassuring…From our first meeting with [name removed], who was so very kind-hearted, understanding, informative, and made certain that the transition process for our dear parents into Morningside House was as smooth as possible for them, and for us children. Every administrative and staff member at Morningside House has been so pleasant, kind, patient, and helpful…And each of them do everything with the most beautiful smiles and kindest hearts! Each resident is encouraged to participate in the many fun activities, and it’s especially joyful when musicians visit Morning House to entertain! You can see the big smiles of each resident, and feel their joy and happiness…And the residents singing along with the entertainers is so precious, fun, and uplifting! My 96-year-old Mom has been at Morningside for 3 weeks and we have been extremely happy with the staff, location, and care that Mom has received. We felt comfortable as soon as we walked through the front door!! There are many activities for those who want to join in. My husband and I have joined in on the Thursday night Bingo (to sit with Mom and help her feel comfortable meeting new people). We play and have fun with the other participants and now they tell us that we are their lucky charms!!! Visiting often and participating with family members is welcomed there and we definitely take advantage of that opportunity!!

My mother went into assisted living [date removed]. She was hesitant at 95 going away from family. They found a resident who was about my mother physical and mental state to be here buddy and show her around. They have remained best friends for 18 months.

Care takers are very good at their job and are very friendly.
