It was clean, cheerful, didn't smell like urine, and the amenities are top notch. It's a new facility and has everything my mom could want. The staff is beyond kind and helpful, and health/safety is paramount.

The caregivers were very caring and conscientious. I would recommend Melody Living to everyone!

Melody Living Lake in the Hills was my first choice for my dad. The facility is very nice and they have individual care plans tailored to whatever your loved one may need. It is more expensive, but it is worth it because you get the care needed. All of the staff that I spoke with were extremely kind and helpful, it was just a totally different experience than the place he ended up choosing. I wish that he would have gone here.

Melody Living Lake in the Hills was a newer and beautiful facility. It was much bigger than we were looking for, but I thought it was a very nice place. My loved one just needed more care than they could provide.

We contacted Melody Living regarding the possibility of moving our in-laws to the area. They were so kind in explaining everything and answering all our questions. We toured the facility and it checked all the boxes we were looking for; staffing, medical assistance, layout of units, layout of the facility, the cleanliness of the facility and the staff we encountered were so nice. We were ready to sign my in-laws up when a sudden turn in their health made that impossible, but if the situation changes this will be our first choice. Talking with [name removed] put my mind at ease that this would have been the perfect place for them.

The type of food they are serving is where we fall a little short - the residents there are used to meat, potatoes and vegetables but they are getting all sorts of different concoctions that they are just not familiar with. However they have an additional side menu that you can order from if you don't like what they are serving. We also appreciate that they have meetings a few times a month to discuss what it is the residents are wanting to be served. They have a ton of different activities which is great. They are very good about keeping up with the health of our loved ones and will asses her health accordingly and will adjust the level of care plan as necessary. We would absolutely recommend this community to other families.

A place to live, a place to enjoy, a place to meet new and interesting people...you will experience All of these and more. Melody is a community that brings individuals together to form a friendly and caring home. I am so happy to call Melody Living my home.

I am pleased with my overall experience at Melody Living. The staff and other residents are down to earth. The food is good. I can go to the dining room or they can serve me in my room if I want. When I feel like being social, they have different activities for me to join in. I enjoy living here. My apartment and the community is clean. I would recommend anyone to live here.

I give Melody Living an A plus. If I need anything I just ask and it gets done. The staff are4 friendly and caring. I've mad4e many friends and get along with everyone, I always feel welcome when I want to be in on the activities and outings. The food is good. No complains from me.

I live at Melody Living for a while now and I like it. This is a really nice place to live because I feel safe, and the staff are nice. The food is good, and people are friendly. The calendar is full of activities and outings for me to do and I certainly enjoy them.

Before I moved to Melody Living, I was in a different place and it was not like here. I'm so happy to be living here now with my cat Smoky. There is always something going on, something to do. The residents get along really well. We often laugh, sing, and just have fun. We get to take trips to enjoy the city, to the stores, restaurants, zoo, the parks and etc... I fell very happy here and every time I leave my room there are always people around. I like going out to the patio with other residents to people watch and just enjoy each other's company. If I need anything I just call for help and the staff are right there to help. If I want to do use the gym I can go use it and the Therapy team are always available to assist.

If you can not be home, this is the place to be. Melody Living was recommended to me by my home care nurse. The staff here are friendly and good. The other residents are friendly as well. They give us good food options and exercise classes. This is easy living. I like having the freedom to come and go as I pleased and having my family visit me anytime. Overall, I am happy here.

Melody Living is a great home away from home because of the varieties of good tasting meals served. Very friendly and helpful staff available. The community provides varieties of local excursions and many interesting activities. After touring other places in the area, I felt the most welcomed and comfortable with Melody Living while others were being pushy or not honest about their cost or services. Melody Living also offered more options for my wife and I to help make this move possible. I would highly recommend moving here.

We chose Melody Living because she really liked birds and there seemed to be a lot of birds here that she could watch. The room size did seem to be on the smaller side, it was a 2 unit room and it had a huge kitchen and huge bathroom, it was just the room size itself that was small. The staff members were accommodating with letting me come in to see my mom during covid. I would recommend them to others looking.

My Mom lives here and there are not enough words to say how wonderful everything about Melody Living is. The Executive Director, [name removed], has put together a team second to none. Extremely professional and experienced, kind and compassionate, full of energy and ideas to care for the residents. These people know what they are doing and how to care for the seniors. We know Mom is safe and that's so important! Also have to say the food is excellent; the the buildings and rooms are beautiful. If you have a senior that needs Assisted Living or Memory care, do not hesitate to check out Melody Living - you won't be sorry and am sure you will immediately sign them up.

My experience rating is based on my personal stay at Melody as well as experience with other options chosen for various family members during the past 5 years. If Melody Living had been available for our family it would have been our choice. A severe auto accident and discharge from rehab made it necessary for me to find a temporary stay pending weight bearing status. During my stay at Melody I found all staff members (housekeeping, activities directors, cooks, waiters, waitresses, care partners and all levels of management) to be exceptional. Speaking from a business owner's perspective I can say this combination is rare and to be commended. You may check multiple locations in Colorado Springs but I can assure you that you will not find a better value for the dollar. Even the residents appear to be happier and better adjusted which I think is a direct reflection of the staff that cares for them.

I feel the community is outstanding, and if I had to do it all over again I would pick Melody living. I would definitely recommend this community to others. communication was good between the staff and our family was good and they kept informed.

My mom is there. Great place, great staff. They really communicate well with the families. They are just so helpful and accommodating. The facility is VERY clean. Activities are fantastic. Coordination of healthcare with the residents is wonderful! Thank you to all the management and staff!

mom got a fair sized cut on her leg and nobody seems to know how she got it. have not tried the activities but looks fine. Staff is friendly, they always greet you. They learn who belongs to you very quickly.

I'd say, we thought it was a good place physically, room sizes, dining area, etc. but more importantly, we liked the staff (director and marketing manager who are no longer there). It felt like the right place. They are helpful. When there are issues, they meet with the family and help resolve them. I'm mostly referring to health issues.
