The Cottages Senior Living

Affinity hospice care serves the cottages so the same people who came to our house now help with my husband. The cottages/hospice works closely with me concerning my husband's health. The staff works very hard to take positive care of all their residents. The administrators are very concerned, honest, and easy to work with. My husband likes it there.

I would definitely rate it 5 stars. It is a clean, homey facility with a very caring staff and plenty of activities for the residents. I would definitely recommend them to others who are searching for a place for their loved one.

We are very happy with The Cottages. The people who work there are amazing. With all they have to put up with, they still smile, are pleasant and helpful.

We chose The Cottages after touring many options, and it stood out as the nicest by far. The environment feels genuinely homey and welcoming, yet it’s fully secure—perfect for peace of mind. It's located in a nice residential neighborhood, and it doesn’t feel institutional. The staff are wonderful: kind, genuinely caring, understanding, and helpful. Almost everyone we interacted with was top-notch and truly invested in the residents. There’s a good variety of daily activities to keep residents engaged and active. One area for improvement: more staff during evening shifts would be ideal (though I understand this is a widespread challenge in memory care facilities). Overall, we’re so grateful for the compassionate care and comforting atmosphere. Highly recommend The Cottages!

The staff at the cottages does an excellent job in all areas. The facility is clean, they include residents in regular activities and are truly good humans. I would recommend it.

I would assign a rating of “5” to all of the categories listed above. While I recognize that no facility is without its shortcomings, I believe this one performs quite well overall. This is my first experience with a facility of this type, and I do have one concern: residents appear to be “required” to participate in group activities, which often results in everyone being placed in a single room primarily for ease of supervision due to limited staffing.

So far, it has been a wonderful place for my mom. And all the staff there are very helpful.

Today marks the one-year anniversary for my mom here. The Cottages at Quail Creek continues to provide a cozy, homelike atmosphere and safe environment for my mom. The staff is kind, compassionate and responsive to the individual residents needs. I also appreciate their transparent and inclusive fee structure. I know exactly what to expect and plan for financially.

I would give them a 5 in each category. They really seem to care for their residents & treat them with respect. Yes, we would recommend The Cottages at Chandler Creek community to other families based on the experience so far

If there was 10, that would be more score, so I will go with 5. I score them high because all the staff are engaged with the residents, they know where everyone is, they include everyone in activities, they are very much a family! They are very aware of residents limitations and needs! They always show compassion! They took wonderful care of my husband and his specific needs! They communicated well with me. I never worried about my husband there! I have nothing but the highest regard for the Cottages and all that work there!

The meals and dining and activities are n/a since my wife was only there for ten days and comatose before passing. The helpfulness, sincerity, personableness and professionalism of every staff member I interfaced with.

I recently moved my husband from another facility, which was a combination of assisted-living and memory care. This was our first experience with a memory care facility. In the beginning, it was acceptable. However, as time went on his care became very laxed. After one year, I moved him to The Cottages at Clear Lake in League City. I checked out several other facilities in the area, but chose The Cottages at Clear Lake for several reasons: 100% Memory Care, great reviews including good food and caring competent staff, an emergency generator, & an evacuation plan in the event of mandatory evacuation due to hurricane. He is receiving excellent care now. I don’t need to be there every day to ensure he is well cared for. I now have peace of mind.

The staff is wonderful, just there is a lot of turn over. So getting to know someone knew once you get used to the ones that had been there.

As a family, we made real effort to know the staff and for them to know us. As a result, there was an openness to our questions, requests, or concerns. It is the best facility in our area.

Everyone feels like family here! All of the employees get along so well. They are quality staff giving quality care.

Everyone on the staff knows each resident and their personalities. They are very loving with the residents and keep them engaged. If I see something that my dad needs or maybe the beginnings of a problem, the staff is quick to rectify the situation. I rest easy knowing he is well taken care of

I've never eaten there and my wife is incapable of complaints. The Value for cost is difficult to evaluate, but yes it is great. The staff always seems to be helpful and engaged.

We had to find fast placement for my Mom after she eloped from Assisted Living. The Executive Director was so sweet and accommodating. She helped make it happen quickly and even gave us a bed to use so we could move her in. They worked with us and on move-in day she comforted me when I was worried. They are very responsive with any questions and feedback. I loved that so many of the staff had been there for many many years. All the caregivers I saw interact with me Mom treated her with kindness. They have really fantastic events and activities that my Mom loves, especially all the music and dancing.
