Within a week or so of when we first visited Pegasus, they were transferring ownership from Brookdale, which is the only reason I gave them less than a 5 rating. They were going through a lot of procedural changes and all of them were to make things better than they were, however it caused a few things to not go smoothly. I don't want to be too harsh with my rating because other than a few things not being handled as quickly as we expected, nothing was related to how well our mother was cared for. She's spoken with others in the facility which have been there for several years and they have expressed nothing but good things about the facility and it's staff. Our mother seems to be settling in well and adjusting to the drastic changes in her life. The PT she has received from their in house therapist has been great. She has quickly moved out of the wheelchair, to her walker and is now progressing to a cane or nothing to help her with her recovery after her broken leg in February. The staff have been very friendly and supportive and our mother has had no complaints.
