Liked the layout & the philosophy of care. The rooms were comfortable and attractive. The courtyard was very homey. Sadly it was our of our price range. the staff we met were very friendly and welcoming.

My only disappointment was that if I put my mom at your location after the 18 months was up, she would not be able to transfer over to Medicaid where the other location that I ended up going to was willing to do that so that is the only reason I did not choose your location. I do wish maybe you could do some upgrading to your building as well, but the staff was amazing and [name removed] very friendly.

The people / staff personnel that I encountered were all very nice and friendly and professional. I really liked the overall feeling of home in the decor and the layout of the building. It was easy to see myself visiting my parent there. Unfortunately I was not able to get my father in there due to the level of care he needs being too complex for their level of service.

My husband moved to Memory Care at Brookdale’s Springdale location on [date removed]. He was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2020. He was at home until I realized I could not keep him safe and happy. From the moment we arrived at Brookdale I realized this was the right place for him. The staff welcomed him warmly and they made a shadow box of his photo and interests so he could find his room. They had musicians come to entertain them. The residents smiled and sang along. A few ‘danced in their chairs!’ Every morning they exercised in their chairs and read the paper to them. The staff took them outside on nice days so they had a nice change of scenery. The staff played quiet music when the residents enjoyed meals with their friends. Some would linger at the table and watch the birds visit the birdfeeders. The staff would hold my husband’s hand as they walked the halls endlessly with him. I will be forever grateful for his wonderful care! Thank you, Brookdale Family!

The people were very nice. It was a safe place for my father. I liked that it is all one floor. He was bored. Activities were not well planned. Bright paint and carpet would go a long way to making it sunnier. For me, it was also a trek because of traffic and because it's not an area I frequent. I think with some changes, it has potential.

Brookdale Staff at Springdale CARE and it's because their director at that location is an excellent business man, and a very down to earth, caring person. Our interactions with staff when we visit is always pleasant. They truly care about our family member. We've had a unique situation, affecting our billing but they are working it out for us to fix the issue. We had a completely different experience at another place but now we know we have found THE PLACE for our loved one to call home.

I am very happy with Brookdale and how they treat my mother. Yesterday she told me her aide took care of her like she was her mother. As far as rating everything else I will give them all a 4, no one is perfect. I would highly recommend Brookdale to anyone looking for a place for their parents.

Staff is caring, but plagued with turnover. Dining is ok, but size of the facility is limited. Nurses are excellent. Billing is sometimes off after re-assessments. We feel confident mom gets the care she needs.

This community is small in size which makes it easy to navigate. With only 30 assisted living apartments everyone becomes like family. Staff are friendly and attentive, the food is good and there is a variety of options. The apartments offer just enough space and the activities are always happening so residents are able to socialize which was the biggest issue when our loved one lived at home alone. The clinical staff is always so responsive to my questions and I love that I no longer have to worry if Mom is taking her correct meds like I did when she was at home. Finally have some peace of mind!

I picked Brookdale due to the smaller size. If or when dementia get worse unless she becomes violent or tries to escape she can stay in hee same room. When her money runs out as long as she has been private pay for 2 years she can stay in her room and be on Medicare. No else offered this. I am pleased with Brookdale.

They have had some care staff turnover, but they do their best to care for mom. I really think it would be hard if we were not there so often or if we did not supplement their care with hospice services. They offer activites such as; Bingo, book club, trivia, outings,library, and volunteers deliver communion and stop in for a chat and prayer. They are easy to talk to so you can rectify any issues. They are not proactive in reporting issues they see, however. Mom seems to be finding her place, but it has taken nearly 4 months.

I toured this facility and wasn't really impressed with it. It's an older facility. Friendliness and cleanliness didn't appear to be great, based on what I saw from my tour. Overall, I just didn't get a good vibe from this facility.

Under new administration from what I was told and there is no way I would pay the amount of money they want! Very dirty carpets everywhere! If they can’t even clean no way could I feel like my family member could be taken care of. I can’t believe I was shown a place like this run down. A place for mom needs to review this place for themselves before recommending

Initially the friendliness of the sales people really stood out to us, and it is not a rather large nursing home and it is first floor only. However, the meals and dining services is sometimes a hit or miss with our loved one.

They were very welcoming, and they went out of their way with Covid going on to get my loved one out of the assisted living where he was and kept falling. They made it so much easier than it could ahve been. They were just very freindly and acommodating. I was very pleased wiht them for the short t ime that we were ether.

We were recently allowed into the building and all we could hear was the Caregiver [name removed] cussing about another patient. I don’t recommend this place. Our family had reached out to management once before and she has still been allowed to work

The staff were great. The move in process was so easy. The executive director was helpful, and took care of everything. The wellness coordinator was absolutely fantastic with my dad's assessment and she remembered him which was meaningful to me. There were always activities going on every time I was there. My dad really liked the care staff, and prior to living there, he didn't like many people. My dad was a very picky eater, and the dining staff work hard to offer him choices and accommodate his requests.
