Review for Keystone Commons
It's well maintained, staff is great and there is always something to do. It's very comfortable. I have given several friends a tour. And one of them is moving in at the end of the month. We are very grateful to have found this positive place to begin the next chapter of our life.

[name removed] provided a wonderfull tour of Keystone Commons. She was very professional and informative. No stone was left unturned. She answered all our questions. We had no reservations about our cousin transioning to Keystone Commons and he is excited about this being his new home.

Tour guide was knowledgeable, kind, and thorough. We are thrilled that they have a transitional unit, the Willow; however apartments are too small and outdated. Very unhappy that because my father has dementia he would not have access to his own balcony. I understand his is a regulation, but it is one he likely could not adjust to.

[name removed] and I had a very pleasant visit with [name removed] at Keystone Commons Last week. [name removed] gave us two hours of her time to assist us in options and conversations to better understand what WE need to consider in the months to come. Our first visit at Keystone was very helpful and we will give her a call soon. Many thanks for the great beginning! We will be on the way to NH Beach in a week and will get back to [name removed] soon to set up a time.

The tour was a very pleasant experience. Staff were extremely nice very thorough in their explanation of the services that they provide. Keystone definitely has that community feeling. Also, we were very impressed with the number of offering that are available in order for people to keep active in social.

Keystone Commons is a welcoming vibrant and caring senior community. Assistance can be tailored to your needs while allowing you to remain active and independent. Staff were helpful and took the time to answer all questions.

Keystone Commons is a very nice place. The staff we met were knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The independent living apartments are well-appointed. The full kitchen is a definite plus and the electric stove with coil burners (not glass topped) is a user-friendly bonus. The common activity areas, event calendar, and transportation services offer a nice variety of options. The residents we encountered were friendly. The location is pretty, and although the area surrounding the property is not walkable (no sidewalks), the grounds would be in good weather.

What we like the most about the community is just knowing they are getting the care they need and that they offer different levels of care based on individual needs. Everyone there is so nice and they really try hard to make it a good environment for residents. Their apartment is always clean and tidy too.

Don't have a lot to add other than my parents have enjoyed their experience at Keystone. Staff very helpful and friendly. They have been much more social with new friends in an environment much more conducive to socializing than their previous apartment. The food is good not great but maybe better than average at these assisted living facilities?

The bedrooms are bigger than the average in the industry. Handyman available to help with work within the apartment. Staff is very responsive to needs and questions.

There is a new Director just coming on board. Theses ratings are based on the previous Director. I am already seeing positive changes with the Interim and new Director and hope they will continue. Hopefully this is a new beginning for Keystone to regain their reputation.

It was terrible! The CNA's, except for one, were rude, the Apt was cold because they wouldn't turn the heat on until sometime in October, the hall rugs were filthy. The food was good, though.

They have an amazing and wonderful variety of activities!!! Artsong, ballroom dancing, bowling, outside bbq and musical performances, new minigolf, monthly themed activities where all residents participate, happy hour at pub every Friday before dinner, weekly field trips to wineries, museums, etc.

It's a great place but it is so over the top expensive. I don't know how anyone can afford it for long and you really never know how long. Staff are great and the activities are fun.

The staff members at Keystone Commons are caring and friendly. The only reason I gave a 3 to the cleanliness was that the memory care unit needs attention with redoing the area and the rooms

Areas they could improve on - Let the residents control their thermostats year-round. It was always too cold in the rooms and the dining room. The hall carpet needs to be cleaned or replaced On a positive note, the staff Was very friendly. The residents were Not.

Our loved one had a very roomy apartment and the social activities are great! Lots to do! When it comes to the activities they have different areas they residents can stay engaged in. For Staying Connected they have things like morning share, happy hour, restaurant outings, pet therapy and shake a memory. For Stay Inspired they have painting class, spiritual services, cooking demos, live music and nature photography. For Staying Fit, they have Tai Chi, walking club, fitness dice, chair yoga, and relaxing massages. For Staying Sharp there is UNO, blackjack and Mexican Train dominoes, bingo, news & views, documentaries and trivia pub.

My loved one is a resident at Keystone Commons and so far things have been very good. This facility is excellent! The staff is very caring. Communication with the family is excellent. My loved one loves the meals. I would recommend this facility to friends and family.

I would give them zero stars if I could. I wouldn't recommended them at all. One lady wanted to pat my service dog. And the person giving the tour said they didn't want me there. I would not recommend them at all.
