It includes housekeeping, laundry, and daily medication administration (by Name Removed). I love the staff, including the front desk (Name Removed). They all seem to enjoy their work. Although my uncle is able to dress himself, I still appreciate the ladies who encourage him to get dressed and ask if he needs help.\nThere are three full meals provided daily. Our first meal was in the dining room on the 1st floor. The chef greeted us and shared the day's specials, which change daily. My uncle is on the 2nd floor, memory care, and their meals are all provided in the dining area on that secured floor. We enjoy the option of having small family dinners on the 1st floor at a small cost for family, charged to the monthly fee. There is a good list of menu options, the food is always fresh, and we've enjoyed every meal!\nThere are a few outings and activities based on the different levels of the residents. Both sisters resided in an apartment complex that was predominantly for seniors. I realized after being at 1440 By the Bay for two weeks as a visitor that all of the seniors at their previous apartment complex didn't have the experience of active living like 1440 By the Bay.
