Staff was friendly and helpful, my Aunt [name removed] was happy there. Of course the fire was RATHER INCONVENIENT. The staff did a good job after the fire in trying to be as helpful as possible.

5 for all. We were impressed by the kindness and thoughtfulness of the staff that helped us get situated. [name removed], the sales coordinator was especially helpful and gracious. We were new at this with an aging parent and [name removed] was patient and helpful thru the whole process. She is a genuine and kind human, knew every residents name and talked to them as though they were her friends and made us and everyone feel like they were part of a family community.

What we like the most about the community is that everyone I ran into there was friendly and helpful. Yes, I would recommend American House Coconut Point to other families based on the experience.

The facility is nice and seems very well kept. From what I observed, the staff were competent and kind to the residents. The rooms I looked at were a bit larger than ones I observed at other facilities and had a fairly spacious closet, comparatively. I had great difficulty choosing between American house and another facility. Ultimately, I chose the other facility only because it was closer to my house.

American House Southland provides options for activities and encourages residents to be social. You have opportunities for transportation to restaurants, shopping and in general activities. The living space is well maintained.

The food menu is exciting we have choices. Entertainment is very good housekeeping is Housekeeping is very good clean house smells

Overall a super nice property, super friendly staff and and great visit. The floor plan with the small kitchen just didn't appeal to us, otherwise the location and pricing were perfect. Just not the right choice for us

Choosing American House Fort Myers for our mother’s senior living community has been one of the best decisions our family has ever made. She has been living there for 7 months and we couldn’t be happier with our choice. Her health and wellbeing has flourished. She just celebrated her 95th birthday and they helped us choose the perfect singer entertainer who made her day very special. Our family felt welcome to add our touch to the celebration. Many of the staff participated in the singing, dancing and encouraged the residents to join in. We visit the community often and always feel welcome. You can tell how much the caregivers must love their jobs and how well the community is managed. They treat the residents with respect and truly care for them. We feel like family there and lucky to have found the perfect place for Mom.

The staff and residents were all very friendly and happy. Staff offered a “grand” and meal to both me and my friends. [removed name] answered all our questions. I didn’t feel pressured. Overall enjoyable experience.

I was looking for assisted living for my 95 year old aunt who could no longer live alone. [name removed] was wonderful, showing me all of the wonderful amenities that American House has to offer. She then explained the financial end of matters. When I entered the facility I was greeted by the staff and everyone was very friendly. My mom was at American House about 10 years ago and we were very pleased then and now.

Everything is going great so far it's been a learning experience for both sides every time my dad sends an email. He always gets a fast response and gets all his questions answered so so far everything is going well. Staff is really caring and looks out for my mom.

The administrators were very helpful and did a good job of explaining the details of the facility.

I was looking for assisted living. But my mom went down hill really quickly, and they could handle all of it. I highly recommend them!

I would highly recommend American House! Everyone has been very helpful. My parents love it there. I live in Wisconsin, so I talked to them. They love the food too.

I toured America House a month or so ago and was VERY impressed. I feel it is the right place for my husband who has Parkinson's plus dementia when he is ready to leave my caregiving...or, when I decide that I can no longer meet his needs. The facility, staff, activity director, dining area support, calendar of events, charity project with Immokalee, etc. were excellent. The staff called their clients by name and interacted positively with them. There was a sense of joy! My son recently toured and was also very impressed. I was glad to see that he approved my choice. We will be starting the paperwork after the start of the new year.

My parents have only been there a month but so far I would rate everything a 5. The staff could not be more friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Friendly and helpful staff. They truly care about the residents. The facility is neat and clean. The only improvement I can suggest is that the tubs in assisted living should be walk in showers; not tub cut outs.

Very personable staff that feel like family. The care team is new so I think they are still adjusting. The food is amazing but be prepared for your biggest meal to be lunch, not dinner.

Recently, I visited six different assisted living facilities in my general area on behalf of my 93 year-old mother. Out of the six facilities, American House was definitely my first choice. Not only was it warm and inviting, it was the best value and I believe it will satisfy all of my mother‘s needs. My mother is a very social and active 93 year-old, and the number of activities offered each day will definitely keep her very busy. [name removed], the Community Relations Director, was a joy to work with and was always very accommodating and gracious in all of our interactions. I truly believe I made the right choice in choosing American House for my mother.

What we like the most about the community is the Proximity to my house, great staff and always festive décor for holidays, really good food and easy to come and go.
