The staff were wonderful to my mom, especially the hospice people. I just wish they'd have kept her room a little neater. Every time I came by she was asking me to pick up for her.

Weatherly Court does not know how to train nor keep employees. Revolving door. They told me my father refused showers. He is in memory care use your skills and get give him a shower. The private caregiver I hired never had an issue. Management turn over, no consistency and the building smells of urine.

Don’t put your loved one in this place. Constant price increases. The food is awful. High staff turnover. Read google reviews and do your homework. Understaffed and many times give the wrong medications.

Daily food has lost its luster. What used to be fabulous is now lacking. This has been brought up several times with no change. Very disappointing. The cleaning staff has left, and clean rooms are in the past. Residents are cleaning and vacuuming their own rooms now. Residents have complained but again nothing has happened. Most residents won’t complain for fear of being kicked out. Feel free to contact me, I’ll help.

Be aware and ask for the staff turn over rate - especially how many Executive Directors have changed in a three year period. We are moving our mother out ASAP. Not providing basic care services being paid for. No help at bathing / showering, dressing, lacking basic check and balance. Current Executive Director is putting the blame back to the client that they are responsible to take care of - no communication back to the family that there is any issues. Ethics are lacking and also core values. Facilities do not fix items that are broke or unserviceable.

You have to look past the amenities and experience the level of care. My first observation was that they didn’t provide the level of care that you are paying for. The medical staff is disorganized and poorly trained. You must follow up on every directive or change in medical orders to insure they are being following. Their record keeping is also incomplete. The newly hired executive director provides nothing but ingenious lip service and complaints memorialized in writing are unanswered

We were informed that we could move in on a Sunday which suited our needs. Then when we showed up, there was no staff there. There was no oxygen for our loved one that needed some, and they should have known that he needed it. The entire ordeal was not good and we ended up having to move our loved ones out there after going through the trouble of getting them in there. During the short time they were there the care was not very good either. It took them a long time to answer when buzzed for care needed. We didn't have a good experience at all.

Don't put your parent here! My parent lives here and it is horrible! There were roaches in the apartment and they didn't address the issue. They charge for services they did not provide. The washers and dryers are always broken but they do not put out of order signs on them because they do not want prospective residents to see they are broken. They frequently run out of entrees for meals so instead of a real dinner or lunch residents get sandwiches. They sell you on transportation to doctor appointments but it is so hard to coordinate with their schedule that they have to schedule them for you and they charge you for it. If you love your parent DO NOT put them in this place!

Moms room flooded while she was staying for a short while at Brookdale Vacaville and the staff just left her in there. It took forever for them to let her change rooms. She never got a bath the whole time she was there. She was also sick one day and no nurse came to check her out . She just had a terrible experience. I am having her stay again in October and hoping the experience goes much better. If it doesn't we will never have her stay at this facility again. They did give us 2 free days for the stay. I will also say the staff was very nice there.

The "memory care" unit is horribly understaffed and a dangerous place for people to live. The director, Ronnette "Ronnie" Lelfore, is dishonest and will straight up ignore your phone calls if you want information about your loved one. There are smaller residences called "board and care" facilities that have a much better patient to caregiver ratio and actually care about their residents (I wish I had known these existed earlier). The staff at Emeritus provides the bare minimum of what is required by law, and will treat your family member as if their safety and comfort means nothing. There is a severe lack of concern for administering medications at the correct timing intervals, helping family members to reduce fall risk for residents, and ensuring that residents are fed a proper diet. Please take your money and your loved one elsewhere.
