My father enjoyed his three weeks at Benton House. The have very professional staff who were easy to communicate with and work with. Phone calls and texts were answered or returned promptly. We needed to make a medication change for my dad. The Nurse worked with me on that. My brother resides less than 10 minutes from Benton House. He was able to visit often. He had no complaints about the staff. My dad’s wife visited often and brought out their dog a few times. Dad was also visited by relatives and friends during his brief stay. All felt dad was in a good place. My dad’s wife visited was happy. No one wants to be away from home, but he did okay. Benson House provided the perfect Respite for my dad’s wife. She needed a brief break from being a 24-7 Caregiver. Benson House gave her this. If my parents lived closer we would probably utilize their Day program. I don’t live in Missouri, but had toured Benson House virtually and in person prior to placing my dad there for a few weeks.

Benton House was a great place for mom. The majority of their employees truly cared about mom. They got to know her, treated her like family. They really encourage residents to get out of their room and take part in activities, socializing. Mom made good friends there. We'd often have to go looking for her when we visited because she was playing cards or visiting with friends. I rated administrative staff low only because we had difficulty getting them to complete and submit claim forms for mom's extended care reimbursement insurance policy.

Caring, clean, consistent. Yes I would recommend but it is very expensive.

I can't say enough good things about MorningStar. They took great care of my father. They were in touch with me often. The staff is very caring. We would absolutely recommend MorningStar at Arrowhead to other families!

We moved mom into assisted living I. [date removed] She enjoyed many friends and took her little dog [name removed] with her. She immediately thrived and gained weight. We had to move her to memory care in the same facility about 18 months later. The staff is very caring and I have been satisfied with the patient care. The biggest negative was the laundry did lose some of her clothes. Overall we will be very sad to leave Benton House as she now needs a hoyer lift.

The staff is very dedicated to the needs of their clients, very dutiful. They take great care in communicating with the client, they're patient. I have noticed when I'm visiting the staff always communicate with my mom, as opposed to communicating with my mom through me, very client-centered. They do a good job of keeping the apartment clean and attending to doing her laundry in a timely manner. They're very meticulous with her meds and make sure she understands what she's taking; they do well with administering her eye drops. Overall, the staff is curteous and dedicated to their work.

My mom had gotten sick and they did a great job keeping her and her room clean. They come into her room several times a day to encourage her to come to activities going on. My mom always says she is safe there. I have seen some of the activities and everyone seems like they are enjoying them. My mom doesn't remember whether she participated, so I don't know what she thinks. Benton House and the care and help they give her is priceless to me. They have taken a huge weight off of my shoulders and she feels safe and comfortable and still has control of her life in her own apartment in a protected environment.

We moved in my mom with ease and efficiently in a timely manner. The staff is cheerful and kind and my mom has settled in with help to get to bed and meals close by in a dining room. She had been able to join the assisted living area for some activities also. Her laundry and showers are done on a regular schedule and her prescriptions are managed well by the nurse and local pharmacy. She has freedom to have visitors and be checked out for some outings. She is assigned to the same table for meals and has developed a real friendship with those women. All in all we have been happy with our choice and placement.

It's an inviting atmosphere that allows individual freedoms to participate as much as they want. Visitors are encouraged and acknowledged by the staff and invited to join in the activities. They have worked with me to find ways to accommodate the need to limit my mother's access to the outside during the summer months. The staff initiates discussions when they see an issue.

Orchard Pointe a beautiful facility. Staff is very professional, accommodating, and caring. We worked with them for several months before Mom moved in and they were willing to work with us for the best experience for Mom. They even came up with ideas that I would not have thought of to make her feel welcome and at home. The people and the core values make this a great community.

It's a fabulous home for [name removed] and I am extremely confident of their ability to keep her healthy and safe.

My mom is currently a resident at Orchard Pointe at Surprise and overall things have been great for her. During the tour, mom said that she didn't need to look anywhere else, she felt warm and safe there. She says if you can't stay at home any longer, this is the next best place to be.

We were looking for an Assisted Living facility that provided an adult day program so that the family could have a break at least once a week. We looked at a couple of the locations in our area and, at the time, Benton House of Tiffany Springs offered an adult day program. My mother participated in the program, and she loved the facility, staff and would socialize with the residents. With her doing so well with the program, the family felt she was ready for her independence, and she would no longer have to feel bad that she was depending on family to care for her. Benton House of Tiffany Springs took time to work with the family members with tours of the facility and to view the rooms available to pick from. They collaborated with my mother’s long-term care insurance and provided all the information for us. They made the transition easy for the family and my mother. My mother felt right at home and adjusted right away. There are options on the menu for the residents to pick from for the three meals of the day. The chefs are great cooks with great personalities. Her room is always clean. The staff treat her as family. Our family is so grateful to the staff and knows she is well taken care of. The management sends the family emails to inform them of all events and invites the family to attend. They notify us right away if there is a health concern with my mother. It is hard for families to have to make the decision to place a loved one in an assisted living facility, but our family highly recommends Benton House of Tiffany Springs. Our mother is doing great there, and she loves the place and loves the staff. All of her visitors, she tells them how nice everyone is and how much she loves her apartment.

They genuinely care about their residents. My mother was very happy there.

The facility is very clean and in good condition. The providers are very kind and hard working. They answered all of our questions and were enormously helpful all along the way as Mom transitioned from her home, hospital, rehab, and ultimately to assisted care within a 3 week period. We will see how things are over time, but the first week has been good for all.

Great communication especially with the nurses and care givers. A lot more activities and interaction with the residents and the employees than other places.

My mother-in-law and I toured a number of assisted living facilities. She ended up living in three of them over the past two years and I was concerned whether or not we would ever find a place she would feel at home. We took the tour together at Benton House and immediately said “sign her up!”. Three months later she reports being happier there than any place she had previously resided. Benton House is a smaller facility and has a very homey feel. The staff has been great and work very hard to meet the many needs of the residents. In addition the staff have been easily accessible on the occasions I have called or visited. [name removed] is finally at home in a warm friendly and safe environment. She is treated with the dignity she and all the residents deserve. I and her family are at peace knowing she is being cared for. Benton House has been an answer to prayers.

The staff is always in contact me. They are so kind to me and my father. He stays very busy there and I love that. The activities there have helped him create friendships which is good because he is very social. He seems so happy. I would absolutely recommend Morningstar to others!

My mom is very happy at Orchard Pointe in Surprise. Within the first 6 months of the move, she received a dementia diagnosis, so my family is very glad that she is getting the help she needs. However, the cost of board minus the care add on went up twice in 4 months and she celebrates her once year anniversary there next week. Admin is non responsive about my inquiries about the rate hikes.
