Note that the 3 on #8 is related to the memory care services. This is a much smaller section of Morning Star and I believe l the costs related to running a top notch assisted living center impact memory care. I recently moved my father to another facility which is 100% memory care and a smaller facility. It saves me thousands annually for similar if not better care.

The staff is all wonderful and have been great as I live out of state. Always receptive and helpful when I call. Food seems to be an issue according to my mom in regards to variety. Yet, trying to please all residents is a challenge. I do wish I had an opportunity to communicate with staff via email yet can call.

If a friend asked, I would say it's a beautiful, clean facility with a warm, friendly staff. And it's affordable. I picked this community for the reasons above, plus it's near to our home in Platte Cit.

I was very pleased with the care that my loved one received there. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The facility was delightfully decorated and his needs met.

When I went to inspect the property to see if it would work for my dad, every staff person knew all the residents by name. So yes, I would definitely recommend it to someone.

The staff is very cordial/caring. Communication with the family is good. All went well with the move in process. The meals generally okay. I would recommend this facility to others.

My husband was only there 5 days and he passed away . However, in our short time I was amazed with the service and attention we received - such a wonderful loving atmosphere - I wish we had found it sooner. From the initial tour of property, answering all my questions. The staff could not have been more caring and concerned. Everyone went out of their way to learn our names and talk to us to learn a little something about us making me know I made the right choice. Our facility had an activities director and she had 2 other people assisting her. There was also entertainment few times a week. I have told everyone I meet that find themselves in the of this type of facility about Morningstar. Told my friend in Billings MT and she told someone - that person actually became a resident. My only complaint - I did not find Morningstar sooner - truly believe my husband would have had a little more time- at least better quality - rather than sitting in a hospital where they made it clear he was not a priority due to his declining condition

I would recommend them. The staff was very attentive and helpful to the family as well. The food was good and they had great activities for the residents. They had monthly activities that the families could attend also.

It's wonderful to go into the buildings and see the same staff with very little turn over. This makes it great for the residents and their needs. Staff are wonderful, caring, respectful and put the needs of the residents first.

If we could give Orchard Pointe at Surprise a 10+ we would! We absolutely loved the experience! Unfortunately passed but Orchard employees still like family, and we would recommend this community to other families

The staff at Benton House of Tiffany Springs treats my mom as family. It made the transition so easy for her. The facility and my mom's room is always clean. The food options are great and it is nice that we can select my mom's meals weekly. The management is always sending my sister and I all the scheduled activities so we can participate if we are available. There are so many activities that the residents enjoy and look forward to. We love seeing all of the activities photos on Facebook. Management is always available if we have questions. Management and the staff made the move so easy and helpful. They made all of us feel like we are a part of their family. I would recommend Benton House of Tiffany Springs to anyone looking for a place for their parents. They are wonderful people.

The staff was very gracious in providing temporary furniture for my mother and getting everything set up in a comfortable fashion and then removing the items on the day her furniture arrived. All the residents seemed active and friendly. They allow pets.

My Mom lived here some years ago. Longevity of staff is wonderful. Everyone is helpful and kind. The community is clean and the seniors who live here are happy. Wide variety of activities, in assisted and independent living. Nice size apartments, beautiful common areas.

It is a very clean facility. They are very friendly and kept me updated on all aspects of my mother. I was there almost daily and any problems was taken care of immediately and the care for my mother was excellent. They had enough workers and gave my mother good attention and I visited almost every day. My mother was blind , hard of hearing , and had dementia. I was happy with Benton House and the care they provided.

All the staff have been very communicative with me since I don't live close. The nurse, director and assistant director have all been great. Being that it is smaller, all on 1 floor and in a quiet area made it a more attractive. Also, the residents were all out of their rooms engaging with other residents and staff. We toured other places where no one was out of their rooms. Based on the experience we have had so far with Benton House of Lenexa we would absolutely recommend this community to other families

They are very attentive to my mother's needs and when she has had a complaint it has been addressed in a timely manner. I think that the director of nursing could improve on replying to questions that I have had. I have left several messages and have not received a call back. The main thing my mother likes it there are a number of activities she is able to participate with. She has made friends and doesn't feel alone there.

I truly can’t say enough good things about Benton House of Lenexa. Every department in this assisted living is top notch. Starting with [name removed], the marketing director, she has a heart of gold & truly cares & knows about each resident. She & the activities director, [name removed]decorate for each holiday, keeping the already lovely facility, festive and fun. [name removed] organizes a wide variety of activities that keep my Mom engaged & having fun. They go on outings every Wednesday. The physical therapy team is top notch also. My mom has some definite physical disabilities & the physical therapy team has been providing the type of treatment & assessment that I have been looking for . The facility Dr. and nursing staff are in regular communication with me & treat my mom with dignity. They talk to her, instead of talking to me. The Director is kind & generous and wears lots of different hats . The housekeeping is done regularly & with a smile. My mom truly likes living here. Definitely look here

We toured with Benton House of Raymore and the price was too high. [name removed] was absolutely wonderful, but Mom thought it looked too much like a nursing home. Her opinion...

Overall we have been very pleased with our experience at Benton House at Staley. Based on our experience we would recommend this community to other families. Great people who will come along beside you and help you love and care for your loved one during this sometimes difficult season of life.

This was a great community at the time for my loved one. My loved one needed additional care and wasn't able to go back to the community. The staff was wonderful to work with. The family has no complaints about our experience with the community. There were three meals a day served to the residents. I would recommend the community to others for their loved ones.
