The staff at Kempton worked so hard with a place for mom to help my family place my grandmother. I appreciate everything they did to help us and walk us through the process. When you need real help a place for mom and Kempton will give it their best shot. I’m not sure if we would have known all that we know without these 2 places. My family appreciates them.

Excellent care at a level way beyond other similar facilities.

It was great at first, and then they moved the person in charge to just doing events, and it went down Hill. They never renovated Memorycare as promised, and after a year it looked dingy and was dirty. There were stains everywhere. The Nursing staff was nice but some needed more education. The food was awful. I have moved my Mother to another Memorycare that is beautiful and clean. She is much happier.

From our initial interaction with sales staff to daily interactions with caregiving staff, everyone is professional, friendly, courteous, and extremely attentive. The facility is lovely and the surrounding area has many pluses. There is a bird sanctuary next-door, a beach down the street and grocery store, restaurants and retail shops directly across the street. Transportation is provided when needed for church, shopping, etc. Our entire family is at ease knowing that she is safe, cared for, and happy.

My loved one is currently a resident at The Kempton of Hermitage and most everything has been great about the experience. My loved one's only complaint is the food. The staff is great. I would recommend The Kempton of Hermitage to others.

The staff taking care of my dad are excellent, caring, and understanding. They take very good care of him and understand him so well! The meals are excellent and well-balanced. The rooms are cleaned weekly and laundry done weekly also. The move in was very easy and the staff helped us get set up.

The staff and facility were very accommodating to my brother, who moved here from California to live with us. He fell the first night in our new house and ended up in the hospital. It was then that we needed to find a new house to accommodate his health condition, but we needed temporary housing and care for him. [Name removed] from The Kempton came to our rescue. She interviewed him and had him set to move in a day or so later. My brother stayed at The Kempton for about 2 months until we were able to buy a more accommodating house to suit his needs. He loved all the staff and clients at The Kempton. He had fun playing bingo with the clients. [Name removed], at the front, became a friend of his and he kept in touch with her even after he left. He would have loved to stay there permanently, but he was on a fixed income. I think he liked most of the meals. There were times when he preferred his fast food and would call for Uber Eats to deliver. As for my experience in visiting him there, everybody was always very friendly. [Name removed], at the receptionist desk, seemed to know everyone and always had a greeting for everyone. The parking spaces were easy to park in and I could always find a spot. I am thankful for them accepting my brother so quickly when we were in a tight bind. I highly recommend them.

[name removed] who works the front desk is a saint. We love her. [name removed], the nurse is awesome. Wish I knew all the nurses names. The entire staff has been great so far. My Mom complains about it. Honestly it could be just her. Only time I've ever eaten there was a mother's day event and Christmas. Both times it was good. My rating was based on her feedback.

They include everything in one price. Others charge for every little thing. They are professional and must importantly, have great staff.

The staff was warm, place was clean and eager to answer questions . Also like meeting the therapy staff. I would recommend to others.

My father was previously a resident at Shem Creek Health Center at South Bay and everything about his experience at this facility was great. They took excellent care of my daddy for the few months that he was a resident there. All of the staff were helpful during the move in process and the vacating of the apartment. The staff were all compassionate towards daddy and family members who visited, especially during his final days of life. I would recommend Shem Creek Health Center at South Bay to anyone who was looking for quality care for a loved one.

My loved one was previously a resident at The Kempton of Hermitage and it was a great experience at this facility. The staff is great - make sure and talk to [name removed], she's fantastic. Communication at all levels (administration, housekeeping, nursing, etc.) with the family was great. I can't comment on the meals really because my loved one never ate anything there, unfortunately. However, they were still brought to the room and they looked okay, about what would be expected I suppose. I would recommend The Kempton of Hermitage if someone has a family member in need of Assisted Living.

What our family likes the most about The Carlisle Palm Beach community is the good quality food they prepare for the residents there. Based on the experience so far, we would recommend this community to other families who are looking for a place for their loved ones.

Overall we had a great experience at the Carlisle. My father didn't use their nurses or medical staff so I can't speak to the quality of care. Everyone at the facility was great though and were always friendly. Some of the kitchen staff did give our private aide a hard time during meal pickup times. I had mentioned it to the head chef but my father left before we noticed an improvement. Also, my father didn't participate in the offered activities but it seemed that they always had a great daily schedule and plenty of offsite events as well. I would recommend the Carlisle to others. Especially with the remodeling they were doing when we left.

They made the transition from the nursing home to Kempton as easily and seamless as possible. They keep the common areas very clean. Everyone is always willing to help in any way possible and meet to discuss any concerns. They truly care about their residents and want what is best for them. They are always planning events and send out a calendar by email to the families.

They were knowledgeable, caring, and beyond expectations. I can't say enough good things. I am glad we found it. Oakleaf has been the perfect fit.

I would normally “pop in” to visit and each time I did, the facility was lively, the staff was knowledgeable, and engaged with its residents, and they were effectively communicating amongst themselves. The Kempton was always neat and clean upon my arrival - no matter what time of day or night I arrived, and I was always greeted promptly. We have already recommended The Kempton to friends, neighbors and colleagues in our community and surrounding areas. If I could say one thing that could be improved, it might be “assistance or supervision (to some) at meals and possibly help choosing future meals”. HOWEVER, I understand it is nearly impossible to manage a person at mealtime, who does not have the desire to eat or who has lost the “drive to do so”. Our resident’s situation was a rehabilitative case and the “entire staff”, bar none, did their absolute best to accommodate our special “family member”. The food looked appetizing, smelled great and the ladies and gentlemen in the dining room served the residents with happy faces…when they didn’t have on “masks”. Even when they did have on masks they spoke with each resident, and everyone was extremely caring, polite, and helpful. [name removed] was “our favorite care giver” - actually our family member’s “Favorite”. She really went above and beyond in many ways to make our family member feel at home and safe at Kempton. The entire staff: [names removed] and who can forget [name removed] (great hairdos)…made it nice for her and for us when we visited. The facility is comfortable. The staff is kind and knowledgeable, and engaged with its residents. This is not a sterile environment. It is a friendly place where people care about your loved ones.

My bariatric wheelchair bound brother stayed here for 2 1/2 months while my husband and I tried to find a home that he could live in with his mobility and health issues. We all came from [name removed][name removed] at Kempton answered our panicked call from us to find a place for him to stay in temporarily. The price there for respite care was the cheapest of all the places that I was referred to and [name removed] came out to our first house immediately to assess my brothers mobility to see if they could handle him. He was accepted and able to move in the next day. The room was very accommodating for his extra large wheel chair. He could access the bathroom and shower. He had a small kitchen counter with sink, microwave and small refrigerator, as well as furniture and TV that they also provided. My brother loved everyone there, including staff and residents. He is actually having trouble finding a primary doctor here and may end up going back as a resident to Kempton because they have a doctor that comes there and my brother needs insulin so the doctor there can prescribe it. Also, my brother is missing everyone there. So, yes Kempton has been very good to us.

The family and our loved one have had a great experience with The Kempton of Hermitage. My loved one is enjoying their time here. The staff are helpful when we have questions. We would recommend the community to others for their loved ones.
