Spring Arbor Senior Living

A 5 for all of them. [name removed] was very easy to work with and helped us get everything planned for my dad's stay. The nurse was great also with his meds. The facility it self looks more like a 5 star country club. We toured during lunch and I would have liked to have eaten there. A great number of choices. Dad liked the food. We have another reservation there for a trip we have to take end of April. I have complete trust and confidence he will be great.

It's great - based on looking at 3 other facilities the staff appears very capable. The food looks good, the room situation the best of all the places I looked at.

I have been very happy with him being there. I am often there and never see anything that really concerns me. He seems to be very happy there and is actually begging to get back there now. The staff have always been easy to work with. [name removed], the director is available and answers our questions. She makes us feel comfortable going to her with questions or concerns. One thing I do not know is how much things will change, if any, since the new company has taken over.

We were extremely fortunate that a place for mom recommended this place!! We really enjoyed the size of the complex. It's small enough where you can get to know not only the staff but the other residents. The staff keeps you up to date on all issues and they are available all the time.

I would give all 8 statements a rating of 5. Our experience with The Piper was exceptional. All caregivers were attentive and timely. The kitchen staff was wonderful and provided additional food when needed. They brought us meals or beverages without us asking (we were there a lot). 24 hour access with a secure fob. An RN or LPN available 24/7. Everyone was just kind. Maintenance folks that checked in.

We were very happy with our experience with Spring Arbor of Severna Park. We would rate all 8 categories a 5. However, my father-in-law was only there for 3 months. Staff were always friendly and went the extra mile to assist my father-in-law with everyday issues with his phone, etc. [name removed]was extremely helpful and caring especially when my father-in-law took a turn for the worse and needed hospice. The transition was seamless.

We like pretty much everything about the community. Only complaint is the response time to the call pendant. My dad is wheelchair bound from a stroke and requires transfer onto and off the toilet. Slow response time has resulted in him attempting on his own and as a result, there have been falls. One fall required an ER visit by ambulance. No serious injury. The reason we put him in assisted living is cause he was having falls at home doing his own transfers. Other than that, the staff is all wonderful and the place is very homey and clean and my dad loves the food. Yes I would recommend The Shores of Lake Phalen! Affordable, clean and the staff is very kind and compassionate

They are a great, 5 on all except for the food which is a 4 and value for cost. What we like the most about the community is their friendly staff. Our loved one loves having her hair done on site. The staff are very attentive to our loved ones needs. Yes, we would 100% recommend this community to other families.

The staff, especially upper management is super helpful! I would definitely recommend them to others who are searching for a place for their loved one.

I can say Rosewood Greenbrier has been wonderful for my mom, she is content and happy there and has settled into friendships with staff and residents and participating in activities. We have been amazed how far she has come! The only glitch we're working through (bc we're new with this) is establishing regular communication with staff there. This said, they have been great at helping us! [name removed] with place for mom was so helpful for me, she was very kind and assuring me through getting Mom ready and us ready for this decision and move.

Overall a 5 because - She has her own room but shares a bathroom with a connected room, and she gets shared space rates (vs single room rates). Also, the staff is very friendly and patient. The family space is very large, attractive and well-decorated, with nice furniture.

The place is very nice and staff is also. Yes we would recommend The Piper community to other families based on the experience and we have already.

I moved my 98-year-old mother into Spring Arbor a month ago, and the entire experience has exceeded my expectations. The Sales & Marketing Director made the move in process smooth, organized, and exactly as promised, even scheduling a follow-up meeting two weeks later to ensure things were going well. The Executive Director sets a high standard for the whole community. She is professional, approachable, and truly hands on, often working alongside her staff to ensure residents receive excellent care. Her leadership is felt throughout the building. The Director of Nursing shows the same dedication and warmth. It is clear she cares deeply for the residents, and my mother’s daily care has been outstanding. The Food Service Director has gone above and beyond to honor my mom’s specific dietary needs, which has given me real peace of mind. This facility has been a blessing for my older brother with intellectual disabilities. He is very social, and now he always has people to talk to. When he lived with me and my husband, his "light" was snuffed because he needs people. I thought I was doing the right thing keeping him home but he is SO much happier now. Staff are fantastic with him, when he's happy and also when he needs "an attitude adjustment!" Highly recommend Spring Arbor of Wilson. Glad we made it happen financially because now I'm a better sister, wife, mother, and Grammy!

I would do 5 for all but #4 and #7. For those 4. It is a very nice facility, especially good for men since there are a number of them. Staff has been great. Always friendly and helpful. There have been a couple of minor issues with one medicine. Activities are OK and they do have a monthly residents meeting to bring up concerns and ideas. Pricing is fair and aligned to others in the area.

From my own experience and the places I looked at prior to committing to Spring Arbor of Greenville I will give SA a 5. I would have picked a different one for myself but I looked for my sister in law and what/where was her best fit. It was easy to start their care, I give that a 5. It seems to be a very friendly facility. They have had several turnovers with staff and that seemed hard for my sister in law to handle. I know and understand [name removed] leaving as she was ready and earned her retirement. Staffing other positions and keeping the same staff seem to be hard. My sister in law has dementia/Alzheimer's so I don't know how accurate her complaints are. She doesn't think she has enough vegetables but when I ask her what she had it always includes vegetables. They have activities everyday Monday-Friday and often on Saturday. This is very necessary because I've learned how much my sister loves this.

The friendliness of the staff med techs, aides, kitchen staff, and all other personnel.

I really liked the activities director, the activities, the physical therapy and staff. It is also a smaller facility so the client to staff ratio is good.

Its reputation, the initial walk-thru convinced me that the staff is was capable and caring. The facilities are so clean. The Activities Director is energetic and caring. I would highly recommend Dominion to others.

What we like the most about the community is the staff and residents, they are joyful. Great variety of activities! Yes, we would absolutely recommend Spring Arbor of Winchester t other families based on the experience so far.
