Administration and maintenance are outstanding. They are always ready to help! She doesn't participate in many activities except Bingo.

Harmony at Independence has been a godsend for my family. My Dad is very happy as a resident. Harmony keeps me informed, the facility is well maintained. All of the staff have been on point and very friendly. My father initially moved in as an Assisted Living resident, and it soon became apparent that he needed to be moved into Memory Care. Harmony helped seamlessly transition my dad from AL to MC. I feel the staff treats my father well; like a family member. I am very pleased with Harmony at Independence.

When my dad was struggling physically & mentally after hip surgery and the move into Harmony, the staff would contact me or my siblings to give us updates on how dad was progressing. As we deal with his medications & pain killers, the med techs encouraged us to be patient with dad's progress; it was going to take time. He was physically doing very well in PT & OT, but it was going to take healing & time for him psychologically. We had meals with dad often at the beginning; the selections for lunch & dinner were quite nice, but breakfast left a lot to be desired. The activities are awesome!! There is a huge variety of offerings for the artistic, garden lovers, brain and word games, worship services, performers, movie nights; motivating my dad to try a few activities has been a challenge; the Harmony aids have tried to get him to pick and go to one or two activities each week. He is reluctantly trying a few and enjoying them. Harmony may not be the perfect fit for everyone, but it has been awesome for our family and we think he's finally feeling at home.

Would like to see more fruit at breakfast, I have no experience with lunch or dinner. The staff are caring, consistent and flexible.

It has been a good experience. I like the place and the other residents so I would be glad to recommend Harmony, at Greensboro.

Overall, our experience at Harmony has been a 5!! The facility cleanliness and weekly room housekeeping has been very good. The staff friendliness has been exceptional, helpful, and very open to suggestions. We live in the independent facility so have not yet needed any special medical care, but when we were sick the staff was very helpful getting food delivered to us from the kitchen. Also, the physical therapy staff, which I go to three times a week, has been exceptionally caring, professional, and expert!! Activities are very varied and numerous. There is always something to choose from, including chair exercises, card games, various clubs, such as gardening, books, bridge, walking, billiards and ping pong, movies in the theater, musical performances once at least once a week, and on and on. There are always some activities going on and the staff is very open to suggestions for additional activities. Maintenance is also excellent. We recently had a minor air conditioning issue which was addressed within 5 minutes. It is really nice to not have to think about and address maintenance and repairs as you must when living in a house!!We moved in a year ago and since then the dining room food has improved both in variety and choices. The dining room staff does meet with residents once a month and has been very receptive to suggestions. It is especially nice to have meals prepared for us, served to us, and to have it all cleaned up for us!! It is very nice to have linen table clothes and napkins at each meal, along with fresh flowers on the table!! Also, each apartment has kitchen facilities for those who like to snack and munch, as we do, in between meals! The apartments are large compared to most other comparable facilities, and they have some unique design aspects. They all have emergency backup power in the event of a power failure which is important for medical equipment, they all have grab bars, as well as emergency call boxes, that are strategically placed, and all hallways and doors are well lighted and wide!! Everything is wheelchair accessible!! One last comment must be made about the residents at Harmony, who have all been exceptionally warm, friendly, outgoing and accepting of new residents. Getting to know each of them and their unique life backgrounds , experiences, and history has been truly exceptional!!! Overall, Harmony at Greensboro is well worth the monthly fees!!

Everyone is knowledgeable of everything, they know the residents by name and if something needs fixed the maintenence are right on it. And the best thing is Everyone is very friendly and sweet. I also love the way all the residents and employees love pets. THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO LIVE AND FEEL SAFE.

Facility was very clean. Staff was always very kind and called me and kept me informed on things that were going on with my mom. They treated me like family.

She loves the food, the entertainment on Fridays and Tuesdays, and the new friends she has made. She enjoys her lovely, spacious, apartment. When we have had questions the staff have been very responsive.

It would be helpful to know maybe high-level weekly or monthly status. I know the nurse staff is busy, but anything that I can/should be proactive about would be helpful. Having a family member in memory care is new to me and my family, especially since I'm not local.

Harmony is populated by kind, warm and friendly residents and staff. The activities staff is always planning popular items in which which we can choose to participate and is very positive. The concierge desk is so helpful. The sales department is very knowledgeable and a special accommodation to [name removed], who is not only so helpful but my friend since meeting her. [name removed], head of maintenance is a great asset to Harmony and tries to get to all of our needs. He is , also; extremely friendly and positive.The food is probably a B, however. It needs to be hot when served, more "homemade" than processed, having more left menu choices and sometimes the staff is not sufficient in numbers. The staff in the dining room is very nice, soups are good, the kitchen staff is super friendly, and the dining room is very inviting. Overall I give an A to Harmony at Greensboro for my overall experience. Thank you for the opportunity to express myself.

Harmony has been very accommodating but it's difficult for me to give accurate feedback based on her report. Overall their communication with family and dealing with her specific situation would be rated a 5.

They take great care of my mom. They know the residents by name. I am able to text or call management with questions or issues. They have been great! I did do the review with less stars for the money. It is quite expensive.

Overall cleanliness could be better rugs are stained worn in. Food is always cold. Made a lot of friends. Activities are ok. Love my apt. Front. Desk staff are great. We don't see much of staff. [name removed] is super great she has been transferred to memory care. We miss her Harmony is located in perfect place. Shopping and restaurant are so convenient.

The staff is very welcoming and friendly. One of my top compliments is the level of communication! The staff is very approachable and quick to answer texts or emails. Also they are very willing to help. My dad likes this facility very much. Apartments are spacious! And bright. My dad has a one bedroom with a full kitchen, living room, balcony and big bathroom with a washer/dryer. There is ample storage and plenty of cabinet space. And he doesn't even have the largest apartment.

Everyone was great. Nursing was exceptional. All people working we're very nice. Staff kept us involved if any problems arose, and it was nice to have her close to home. Couldn't have asked for anything more.

The most patient, caring, loving community you'll find. Top tier, never worry about him there. Literally looked at 30 places in person, in VA and North Carolina.

The facility is beautiful and clean, however the staff, ie housekeeping and Aids can do a lot better at spot cleaning in my resident apartment, especially the aids. I understand housekeeping is only once a week. Everyone is nice, especially the young lady that works the front desk ([name removed]). She is absolutely amazing. Not just to my resident but everyone that I've seen her interact with she's so helpful. She is definitely an asset to your organization! Quality of care needs some improvement especially on assisted living. I believe the aids can be more active in the total care of the residents. Not just a quick visit but checking out things like refrigerator (old food/ ,dirty towels and making sure my resident put dirty clothes in hamper and in the hall. My resident has memory issues. I understand the residents can say no but some time using their Dementia/ Alzheimer's training will help, I'm sure. The food needs a lot of improvement, often times food is cold, residents are waiting long times for their meals, not enough waiters serving. I've heard some of the assistance living residents complain because they aren't getting the same since of urgency service like independent residents. I understand there is a difference in care but the price that the assistance living pay they should do better at providing them with the best upscale dining experience daily. Before my resident moved in to Harmony, there were a few bad reviews about the chef, and how the food would be cold, the wait was long and concerns with overall food. I asked [name removed]about in during my walk through. She confirmed there was an issue but they resolved it with new chef and meal times. There hasn't been much change, from point of view. Great activities director and assistant. There is something always going on. My resident loves getting out so that helps a lot. She was active when she was home and before so retired. If they would fix the few discrepancies, I mentioned that would definitely be so much better. However, Overall Harmony Waldorf is a beautiful facility and my resident enjoys being there with her new family.

I find that the med techs are diligent at watching out for and taking care of the residents and all staff are willing to help. Location for us and pricing, stuck out over other things.

We have found Harmony of Hershey very nice! Staff is very accommodating & friendly!
