The staff was very kind and caring. My mother ended up needing hospice, and the KV staff were wonderful. The facility was very clean at all times, the food was also well prepared. The administrative staff was very helpful with all care aspects

I was very impressed with the facilities and the staff. The whole atmosphere had an inviting quality.

From my 1st meeting with [names removed] and several others I felt an immediate positive response that The Birches would be the perfect setting for my beloved brother, [name removed]. My instincts were 100% on spot as the 5 short weeks he lived there, The Birches delivered magnificently. All employees were warm, welcoming and respectful from the top administrators to those who served his food, delivered his medicine , activities, those who visited him and cleaned his room. He was treated with top quality care and compassion each and every day. Even in his passing, the care and compassion all showed to me remained A++++. Thank you so very much to all at The Birches of Lehigh Valley.

The staff was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Even though my parents are just looking for now, they paid attention and were attentive.

It is a very lovely place. It has a very friendly vibe upon entering the front door. It will Be a perfect home for my sister if I can convince her to move to Virginia.

The Birches is very clean, lovingly maintained, has high ceilings and plenty of natural sunlight. [Name Removed] customized the tour by emphasizing my mother-in-law’s interests and hobbies. We met many of the residents who were thoroughly delightful. Our family is very impressed by the level of care provided for the residents and we highly recommend that it should be on everyone’s “must consider” list.

I am treated very well by all the staff. They say I enjoy going on the shopping trips and different outings. I enjoy eating meals with the friends I made here. I love having my apartment cleaned every week. They keep the whole building, immaculate - which is really nice.

My father passed away suddenly and due to our geographic distance we had to quickly find a place for my visually impaired elderly mother. My Mom told us she was not going anywhere, and wanted to remain in a house she could not manage. We contacted a Place for Mom and they gave us a short list of who had vacancies. We walked into the Tradition’s of Hershey after touring a few other places and we instantly knew this was the perfect place for our Mom. Everyone was so kind and warm. They cared about what she needed and the room we picked out which was available that week was sunny, cozy and absolutely perfect! They have so many fun activities when she feels up to doing something. The dining room is so open and happy and the food is great. Everyone living there seems so happy. The staff is so gentle and caring and everyone knows everyone. The care my mother receives is fantastic. Safety is their top concern. It’s the best choice we could have made for my Mom. She loves everyone there.

[name removed] was a great tour guide making sure every question was answered or followed up within 24 hours. The other staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. The lunch room was bright and airy and the food was good. I feel we found the right place for Dad.

The staff has been very good throughout the whole process of finding an assisting living facility for my parents! I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone I know! They answered every question we had quickly. We toured the facility and were very impressed!

My wife was a resident at Chestnut Knoll for the last 6 months in[Date Removed]and 2 months in early[Date Removed]. The care provided to her was excellent and the staff was always friendly and efficient. I had some meals with her and the food is very good. The only reason she is no longer at Chestnut Knoll is her need for Medical Assistance with the costs. The cost at Chestnut Knoll is reasonable for Memory Care and the type of care she received is well worth the cost. The Administrative staff as well as the care staff are always ready to help, and they pay attention to the resident's needs.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Chestnut Knoll. What truly sets this community apart is its incredible design—the Memory Care Neighborhood is built to look like a charming small town. It doesn't feel like a facility; it feels like a safe, familiar neighborhood where my mother can explore. The staff here are exceptional and have truly become like family. They treat my mother with such love and dignity. I’m so impressed by how engaged the residents are; there is a new activity every half hour, which keeps everyone active and happy. My mother particularly loves the bean bag toss! It is a huge relief to know she is in a place that is clean, homey, and filled with people who genuinely care. If you want a place where your loved one will thrive, I highly recommend Chestnut Knoll.

This is the place to be, you feel safe here, people are friendly, I was impressed everyone knew my name. You make me feel like a part of the family; I've been alone for 12 years. It's the place to be if can't be at home.

My sister is a guest at the Bircher of the Lehigh Valley for around two years. She loves lvring there and all the activities. She loves being around the people the staff is excellent working there. There are so many feature her that presents her with being home!!

My dear Mother was a Chestnut Knoll Memory Care resident for almost six years. She was always treated with kindness and respect by the staff. She received the best personal care possible which always gave me a peace in my heart. I would highly recommend this facility! Denise G.

I know it's a newer building. An appearance doesn't always matter to me. What matters to me most is the care that a loved one will receive why they are in memory care nursing home but walking in there is absolutely beautiful. It's bright it's open. We were on the memory side. My husband had come there due to the fact that Arden courts God bless the people that stay there that's all I can say. I've been caretaker all my life in a nursing home and then I took care of my husband for eight years so we had to finally have him go into a memory care and the care and compassion was awful at Arden courts. Yes, every place has their fault but they had a lot of it and what I've seen even with my own husband it made me cry if I didn't find another place I was definitely bringing him back home with me and see what I could do for around the clock here so we went through birches and I was very pleased with everything. Yes, there were a few that could've used a little more education on taking care of someone with cognitive issues but for the most part, everyone was wonderful. The rooms are beautiful the room we had from my husband, who was by himself and it was like having his own little apartment, so he it made him feel more like at home and not in a hospital room or a nursing home room. He had his own bed, his own La-Z-Boy a loveseat, couch, a table with chairs, and he had a full large bath with a walk-in shower and everything else but I also was there with him every day often on all day. I also hired or brought over with me. The Cna's had helped me at home. Take care of him so I could do my appointments I brought them with me to have extra eyes for him. I was fortunate enough to be able to do that but also they all knew where I stood as far as his care went, and I wanted to see nothing less than what I expected as far as care goes for him I had to say my peace of mind a couple times, but they all knew where I stood, but I do tell everybody I highly recommend birches and tell my daughter if I have to I will go there if I needed a place for memory care the price was OK.

I didn’t think it was possible for my family and I to find a senior's for living community that we would call a second home for my mom. By the grace of God we did at the Birches. I’m grateful to the marketing director for her willingness and patience to help me through this process and to the community support staff and management for all that they do when I see the smiles on my mother’s face.
