My parents are 89 years old and have moved from Florida, where they lived for 23 years to Flourish Collection Rochester. It seems like there was some growing pains with new ownership, once they had put the right people in place it has been very smooth. Eveyone from the front desk, care givers, wait staff, coordinators and upper management have treated our family with respect and kindness. My mother and father love it there after only 2 months.

What a great decision we made having my Mom move to StoryPoint Walton. From the time we toured to the time we moved her in the whole team has been great. We toured several facilities and nothing even came close to the what was offered at this location[ Names Removed] and [Name Removed] have been a pleasure to work with. The facility is always spotless and everyone goes out of their way to make her feel welcome. They have multiple activities a day and Tori does a great job including all the residents. Do not hesitate to select StoryPoint Walton for your loved one. You will not regret your decision.

I recently visited a friend at independent village and I was very impressed with the building that was built in 2000 it is very clean and very bright. The people was very welcoming and friendly. The food was outstanding and I took pardon some of the activities. They had a band later on that evening and I very much enjoyed listening to the music!

My brother lives at StoryPoint, and I help manage and pay for most of his care. He has Alzheimer’s and recently transitioned into the full Memory Care program. Transitions like this can be difficult, but the staff handled it with patience and compassion. They have been kind and respectful toward my brother, which means a great deal to our family. It is reassuring to know he is in a secure environment designed for residents with memory loss. The staff has also been responsive when I have questions and keeps me informed about his care. Caring for someone with Alzheimer’s is challenging for families, and I appreciate the support and professionalism the team at StoryPoint provides. They truly care.

Being the Executive Director at Independence Village in Johnson City is not an easy job, but [Name Removed] is outstanding in that position! She is both reliable and responsive. Her patience with the residents and their families is evident. It is obvious that [Name Removed] is committed to providing a stimulating and safe environment for all. She is a dedicated leader and it is always a pleasure interacting with her.

We have a family member who has been living at Independence Village in Johnson City, TN, for over 4 years. What a wonderful place! Ava, the Executive Director, is amazing! She really cares about people and goes out of her way to help the residents and their families/friends. Her giving nature is second to none. She is professional and attentive, and works hard to maintain a beautiful and clean environment for all who live there. Her welcoming nature makes it a pleasure to visit. Thank you, Ava, for all that you do. We appreciate it!

BEO offers a variety of events for entertainment and for encouraging mental and physical health. Three meals a day provided. Housekeeping. Pet friendly. Transportation provided if needed to appointments.

We initially toured Danbury as an option for our Mom as an assisted living facility. She started out upstairs and for the past two years has been down in Memory Care with advanced dementia. As a family we try to visit three to four days a week. There has been some bumps in the road but the past year has been much better with great care for our Mom. If one of can’t make it in for a visit because of illness or weather, we know that she is being taken care of.

[name removed], the person giving the tour was friendly, knowledgeable, and very informative. The place is clean and beautifully decorated. Everyone, staff and residents alike were friendly and seemed happy. When I was moving stuff in for my parents and had many questions they were happy to help me. Maintenance supervisor , [name removed] was prompt and efficient with tasks he completed for us. Activities are available but my parents aren't really involved yet. The dining room has some issues with service and quality of some items, but the management seems open to talking about them. We're still waiting for the welcome ambassador to walk my parents around and talk them through everything. The apartment is small but well laid out and storage is available and affordable. So far, it's been great. It seems safe with medical staff available and services are available when needed. It was the most reasonably priced option with the enhanced living available in independent living. No other place offered that option. It was a good choice for us. Thanks for the help and suggestions a place for mom gave. They were invaluable.

Place is beautiful and clean. My mom has stated that the food is very good and she seems to really like it there. She has made some friends and has accepted that she lives there now. We are happy that she is living at Springvale.

This was an extremely difficult time to get my dad placed and the timeline was tight. [name removed] and the stuff did everything possible to accommodate the difficult situation and hast my dad was going to be released from the hospital i wasn't able to shop. He made sure my dad's room had a bed that was fully dressed, dresser, nightstand and TV all set up.

Very pleased with our decision! The place is exceptionally clean and pleasant. My brother loves the socialization and the activities. He is participating in some activities that I never thought he'd be interested in.

My mother has been at Danbury for approximately 5 years, the last couple in Memory Care. The current Memory Care staff leadership has done a fantastic job pulling a team together to provide excellent care for my mother. The overall staff have been great and a pleasure to get to know. Their care for my mother has been excellent and very much appreciated. A special thanks to the current Memory Care leadership and staff.

My mother started out in the assisted living area of danbury. Management and staff were always helpful and showed that they genuinely cared for the residence under their watch. My mother enjoyed the daily activities and the quality and variety of food offered in the dining room. My mother is now in the memory care unit, and we feel that the quality of her care has been very good and the the staff has continued to show that they truly care for my mothers wellbeing.

I know this may seem like I'm trying to make my answers easy to do... with no exception a 5 and better if we could, on all 8. [name removed] is the healthiest and happiest she has been in 3 years. Friendliness, quality, staff, food... all of it. We 100% could not be happier or have chosen a better place and would recommend this community to other families.

My Mom stayed at Boulder Creek Assisting Living. Staff was so kind and thoughtful. Always stopping by her room to say Hi, and inviting her to whatever activity was going on in case she forgot. For meals, from the first day, they intentionally set her seat at a table where she had something in common with the others, and she made friends! The food was delicious! She always told us what she had for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and how good it was! There was a lot of fun things going on too, like someone playing a guitar or the piano in the lobby, and singalongs to songs of their times. Arts and crafts, exercise class, and fun things to do related to the upcoming holidays. Staff was attentive, and there was never one of them that we disliked! All were kind and it actually felt like they were her friends. When she saw them in the hallways, she knew their names. Highly recommend Boulder Creek Assisted Living!

I really love living here. All the staff is so friendly. The food is wonderful and I love my room. I love to do the activities, especially the arts and crafts. And I like the music that they provide for when we have vendors come in and play.

My mother only lived at Story Point Shaker Heights two weeks before she died. But it was an important time for her, for us, for visitors. Most of that time she was fully interactive although she didn't get out of bed much. She entered on a hospice basis, having been transported from in-patient hospice at [Name Removed]. I probably ate more of the food than she did and found very good. She wasn't as enthusiastic but she couldn't taste much. I visited multiple times daily and her care appeared to be careful and sympathetic. There were a few changes in administration while she was there, and I didn't always know who to speak with. But the care personnel were consistent and helpful. We were only charged the portion of the month rent (plus the community fee) since she moved in the second week of the month. But after she passed I was billed for balance of a full month. When I objected, the additional charge was eventually dropped. Facilities were clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Im so happy our family choose Danbury in Broadview Heights. The love and care for my mother is noticed everyday we see our mom. We are at peace and grateful to Danbury caretakers and nurses. The staff makes the decision to intrust the care of a loved one easier to accept.

The staff is professional and caring. The food is excellent. Yes, it is often commercial grade (nearly impossible to make each meal homemade quality), but you have a plethora of food choices each meal. The cleaning corps is excellent. The residents are most often cheerful. There are several varied activities each day, off and on location, with transportation usually available. The apartment sizes and design vary and all seem to be reasonably priced. The maintenance staff responds in a reasonable time, and do excellent work. So, yes, I'd definitely give Danbury Senior Living an excellent rating.
