Staff at Brookdale is wonderful. My mother-in-law is 95 years old and can ambulate well. She was becoming more isolated in our own home. She's loves the activities and she's made several friends there. The staff is outstanding. Extremely knowledgeable of their clients' needs. Always polite and professional. You usually don't have to wait for a phone call back if you have a question. The food is 5 star and the security. It's also five star. They take safety as a high priority in this facility.I would highly recommend Brookdale in Verobeach.

The staff has been terrific. My family couldn’t be happier with the care my mom has received. I know that she is clean, safe and well taken care of. Brookdale Sandy Springs have taken such good care of my Mom. The staff is caring and compassionate They have all worked hand in hand with hospice (Gentiva) and have ensured my mom had the best care in her final days.

I find this to be a pleasant place for someone who is still independent but is also a safe place to live. The food is good and the staff is friendly. I like the fact that they have a method to check on the residents without making them feel like they are watched.

First of all, no one wants to move after spending decades living at home. I had to place my mom in assisted living right after she was released from rehab. She didn’t have the strength to go home and sort through things, so the move was really difficult for her. The staff helped me get through the paperwork, and explained the steps to make sure her transition was as smooth as possible. It took a couple of weeks to adjust, but she did and was very comfortable. The activity coordinator took time to help my mom feel welcome, and she was very patient with her and the other residents. She encouraged her to go, but understood when she didn’t want to participate. As with all places of business you have employees that love their job, and some that are there just for the paycheck. There were more employees that loved their job and showed a lot of kindness to the residents than those that were there just for the paycheck. Those employees were still kind and patient. Caring & attentive staff; wide variety of enrichment activities & programs; maintenance staff is not timely; delicious food; weekly cocktail hours; weekly ice cream socials; resident group outings - a great place for Dad!

Brookdale Trailridge is the second memory care facility for my Mom. I wish they would of been my first choice, unfortunately due to very limited time frame to place Mom it was not possible. Here are the highlights of the operation. 1. Communication w/all levels of staff 2. Facility layout, decor, cleanliness and well organized. 3. Care of residents is the priority, respect each individual and assist with needed level of care. 4. Excellent food/beverage program.

Brookdale Pinehurst specializes in dementia care which I value. Everyone knows my Moms name and they greet her with enthusiasm. She is so much happier and thriving since she moved here. The team is responsive each time I bring up a concern.

I cannot say enough good things about Brookdale Carmel staff. They are caring, competent, cheerful, welcoming to family, and just in every way wonderful. There is not an issue or concern that is not immediately dealt with, and always in a pleasant and professional manner.

I worked with Brookdale Bloomsburg over the past week to find placement for my grandmother and came away genuinely grateful. From the first call onward, communication was prompt, clear, and kind. The community felt calm, clean, and welcoming. The sales manager deserves special thanks. She was wonderful—patient, dignifying, and consistently helpful. She answered every question, walked me through levels of care and pricing without any pressure, and was transparent about safety and clinical fit. While our situation ultimately wasn’t appropriate for personal care, the guidance we received was thoughtful and honest. I would recommend Brookdale Bloomsburg without hesitation to families considering this level of support. Integrity and compassion like this are rare.

The tour went well. First we chatted about my loved one and myself, his wife. We surveyed the building and discussed the daily routines and some of the positive effects on the patients. Will tour once more with my daughters before my decision.

My tour of the Brookdale Carriage was very informative. My daughter wants to come back with me to see it. I’m very interested. Unfortunately I’m getting ready to have back surgery so it will be a little while. It’s a lovely place.

My family and I have recently toured Brookdale Henderson, and were very impressed by the facility, but mostly by the staff. Everyone was kind, compassionate, and respectful of our feelings and our needs. Therefore, I made the decision to place our loved one there, so we could be close by and visit as much as we possibly could. We are very happy with the treatment and support for our family member. I haven’t regretted that decision for one second.

After becoming very unhappy with the residence we had our mother in after a director and other staffing changes and a $[removed]K hike in prices which added nothing to quality of life for resident we found [name removed] and she found us several places but we loved Brookdale Sylvan Ranch. The apartment is smaller, but much more appropriate for somebody with her mental cognitive condition. It's also not just an ugly brown box. I like that the shower is not in her room. The facility gave us an $[removed]credit for our first month since [community removed] did not give us any money back. Mom's apartment was supplied with a brand new toilet brand new sink, brand, new air, conditioner, brand new flooring and paint as the prior resident had lived there for eight years. The staff is always got somebody engaged with the residence every time I come there I see that. They have a schedule written down so the residence can see what time something is happening. They don't all sit in a huge one room dining area. They have separate kitchens for each of the four wings of apartments. All the sidewalks lead to a minimum of two doors well rather one door to get in so they're never lost. The staff is very very friendly. Some of my favorite workers that [community removed] let go when they changed directors are working at this place and I was so relieved because they're fantastic workers. I can call and someone will bring the phone to my mom so I can talk to her. The residents are always being engaged instead of just left to their own devices, sitting there with nothing to stimulate them. There are more people at mom's cognitive level so she can have conversations with people. Mom has had to be sent to emergency room twice while I was out of state and all nursing staff were accessible and answered many questions and I felt very blessed with their care of Mom through the whole thing.

My husband needed a memory care facility. The hospital had A Place For Mom reach out to me to help me find such a place. I toured Brookdale in Topeka and was treated so well. I loved the facility and knew I wanted my husband there. [name removed]did a lot of "hand holding" with me and was able help guide me through this difficult time in our families life. He explained the process and has gone above and beyond. He knew how stressed I was and his wealth of knowledge was so helpful.

The staff cares and it shows, always happy, they actually know their clients, so it feels like family. Facility is very very clean and smells good. Very open communication if I have concerns. I'm so glad that I found them. [name removed] and [name removed] are the best!

We reviewed seven facilities before selecting Brookdale for my wife of 50+ years that has frontal lobe dementia. After two tours and interviews with multiple staff members, from leadership to the folks in the "trenches," we were thoroughly impressed with the whole operation. The words I find best to describe are friendly, attentive, responsive, and most of all they truly care about every resident in both the regular assisted living unit and very much more so for the Clare Bridge memory care unit. I can say in my view, after six plus months of memory care for my wife, the staff at Brookdale still exhibit and continue to reinforce my reasons for choosing this facility over all the others. My wife is happy, comfortable with all the staff, and continues to "enjoy the quality of life" we all collectively hoped for.
