I came to my first meeting with a list of questions, and the staff took the time to answer every one of them thoroughly. They even provided additional information I hadn’t thought to ask for, which I really appreciated. One of the things that stood out to me right away is that this is a smoke-free campus. My dietary needs are medically necessary, and addressing them was my top priority. The team has been very upfront, supportive, and accommodating. The Bistro director,[Name Removed], continues to work closely with me regarding my food allergies. Since I can go into anaphylactic shock from certain foods or preparation methods, this is extremely important to me, and I truly appreciate the effort he and his staff are making to ensure my safety. Overall, I am very happy here. Thank you for helping me find Augsburg. The staff throughout the facility are kind, helpful, and genuinely care about the residents. I also understand that not everything can be fixed or completed immediately—sometimes parts need to be ordered or outside contractors are involved. Having owned a home myself, I recognize that this is just part of how things work. I feel very safe, I love my apartment, and I enjoy the management and staff. Most importantly, I’ve met wonderful people and made new friends. I now have a social life again, which I truly missed when I was living alone. Living in a community setting also means understanding that everyone has different needs. Not everything can revolve around one individual, and I appreciate that this is a “we” community rather than an “I” community.

The staff was very accommodating. They even came out to do the health assessment. They also were super accommodating to us, allowing us to move him in gradually. They are very responsive and warm. And they work hard to help my dad get acclimated. The apartment is a nice size with a full kitchen. And it was among the more affordable communities. They also have doctors that visit weekly. [name removed], was and continues to be phenomenal.

I had a tour at Deer Creek Lodge and[Name removed] gave me the tour. She explained the process very well and we made a connection. I wanted to move in as soon as possible! Since I have been living here, I have enjoyed being here. there are a lot of activities and choices. The residents and staff are very friendly and helpful! It has felt like home since I have moved in.

This is my first experience with having a loved one is an assisted living facility. I can say that all of the wonderful staff and management at The Heritage of Clara Barton have welcomed my mom with open arms and have truly made a difference in both of our lives. What started as scary and unknown has turned around and become comfortable, fun and home for mom. She is now busy every day. There are many activities to participate in, which has allowed for residents to meet, get to know one another and combat aloneness feelings. I truly feel like they consider the residents family and are always available when she or I need them. They have been a huge help to me and are always eager to discuss her needs and my concerns. It gives me a sense of peace to know mom feels at home and safe each and every day.

My mother and father moved into Heritage last July and loved it. They were being taking care of the way they needed to be. My father had a stroke and had to start using a walker and couldn't drive anymore and my mother had early dementia. Unfortunately, a few months later my father passed away. Heritage of Clara Barton has gone above and beyond taking care of my mother. The care she gets is top shelf. Everyone from the awesome daytime and night time aides and the nurses are exceptional. She gets the care and attention that she needs. (Thank you Wellness Center). They give her three great meals a day in their dining room which she can choose her meal from different meal options. And if my mother does not care for the choices for the day, there's a whole list of alternative choices she can choose from. The current chef is great. The kitchen staff is great. My mom has been here for 6 years and we are very happy. She’s very well taken care of. The nurses and staff are patient with her and are always looking out for her well being. Here room is spacious and comfortable. The entire building is always clean and up to date. The front entrance is always decorated very nicely and they have multiple activities for the residents to do on a daily basis. Communication with us is also very good, something that is very important for us. While the best case scenario would have be to keep mom at home with us, unfortunately due to her medical conditions is not safe to do so. We are very glad to have found a place like Heritage and we feel at ease knowing she is there.

I transferred here from a rehab. facility after a stroke in [date removed]. The therapy department is very good and has helped me regain my walking ability. This facility is very clean and the staff is nice and helpful. It was a good move for me.

The atmosphere is very nice and pleasant. The people here will greet you with a smile. There is lots of activity and the music that is playing is very soothing. The staff here will help make you feel right at home.

I am a resident at the Heritage of Clara Barton. The food is great. The workers in every department are fabulous! If you ask any question to the staff if they don’t know the answer they will make sure they find the answer and get back to you. I don’t have any complaints. It’s a great facility all around. Highly recommend this facility!!!

My tour with Deer Creek Lodge was impressive to say the least! I had previously toured several other communities for a family member. Not one compared to Deer Creek Lodge. The pricing was very reasonable and affordable. many services are included with other options to choose from if needed. The staff was very friendly and actually mentioned how happy they were to be a part of the team. I was impressed with how clean and nice everything was. It has a very unique look, almost like you are at a ski lodge or resort! The residents were super friendly, and they seemed very happy. I will definitely come back when it's time to move my loved one!

I recently toured Deer Creek Lodge for a loved one. I was immediately impressed with the look and cozy feel it gave me when I walked through the front door. I have to say, it's not your "typical" look/setting of an Assisted Living facility. The resort like atmosphere was very calming and the residents surrounded by the fireplace made it seem more home like. I had an amazing tour with the Admission Director who gave me an abundance of detailed information about services offered, apartment prices & layouts of the community. I was impressed with all of the activities that are offered, along with outpatient therapy that is available. When my loved one is ready for Assisted Living, Deer Creek Lodge will be my choice!

Deer Creek Lodge is a luxury Assisted Living community. The staff is very professional and kind. Residents are treated with respect! I would recommend Deer Creek Lodge to anyone looking for an Assisted Living!

It is an excellent, well ran facility. It offers many activities and entertainment. We have a very professional efficient administrator and lots of very respectful and committed employees.

A family member is at King David and we are very happy with this place. We are so glad we decided to choose King David. Our family member is so happy there. The staff has been great with helping them settle in.

I recently visited the villas and was so impressed with how caring and kind everyone was. The resident I visited loves it there and all the activities he’s done and friends he has made. I highly recommend this facility to anyone.

Was greeted by a staff person as I walked in. Very polite & said can I help you I mentioned i heard so much about this facility that I wanted to tour & see for myself. Looking for facility for my dad. The staff person said again, thank you and I would gladly show you around. She explained the different rooms areas. Was impressed with what she showed me. Didn't realize how big and all that they offered. As we finished with the tour she gave me some pamphlets and if I have anymore questions. I thanked her for her time and being really helpful.
